Can't shoot worth a damn though.

Luka and Curry can both get past their man in the NBA, kind of important skill.

High level distribution - hitting the corners, skip pass coming out of pnr, instead of only hitting the roll man or shooting. Secondary, tertiary reads.

High level production - there’s lots of metrics for this, BPM, WS/40, net rating, even something as simple as PER. Cade and Green do not stand out in any.

Maybe we SHOULD pick him. These irrational examples of slights used to fire up Jordan all the time. Maybe Suggs is channeling his inner Airness lol.

Not next year, it’s rare for any rookie to be a positive contributor to winning, but over the next 4-10 years I think Mobley and Suggs would contribute more to winning.

So if we want to tank, again, next year the chair has a cushion?

No you still have to take Cade and Green over the chair. Due to trade value.

This draft class seems to have alot of they should've picked me mentality without doing any workouts.

Like you said, a lot of this is based on rumor. I'm going to presume if Suggs knew he had a chance to go 2nd he would have worked out for the Rockets. He's clearly a competitor and wouldn't leave that extra money on the table.

On the flip side it would be foolish to risk injury by working out for a team committed to Green or Cunningham. An injury in a needless showcase could literally cost him millions. So I see your point but understand his chip too.

You could literally say this about Jalen Green. His draft stock is solely based on his POTENTIAL and has much chance to bust just like any other high pick. Jalen Suggs is praised for having a high floor already.

50/11 versus the Bucks gives me hope that he can improve in only his SECOND season as a PG.

    At any level!

Suggs has elite steals rate. Elite rebounder for a guard. Elite court vision, would have avg a lot more assists if he didn’t play with 3 other playmakers and was in a more pnr heavy offense. Elite foul drawer, plays both ends physical like he’s still on the football field. Still developing as a shot maker, but has elite first step and driving ability (also contributes to foul drawing)

He has all the indicators of an allstar two way guard. There’s very little downside.

Love Suggs as a defender but I'd put Keon Johnson, Davion Mitchell, Deuce McBride, Scottie Lewis on his level if not above him as lockdown guard defenders.

Scottie Barnes too if you consider him a guard.

Precisely, which is why I'm praying Toronto falls in love with Mobley and trades 4+ assets for 2. :D

I don't think we should sleep on Suggs, nor sleep with Suggs.

    Draft consideration should be enough.

Imagine if we traded KPJ for the 5th pick. Could have had a Jalen x Jalen backcourt. Could have been nice.

This draft was absolutely loaded. I think a lot of teams will be happy with there players.
