Both Lowe and Woj said on their special that they be shocked if Detroit isnt the one picking Cade on draft night.
*draft night comes* One teams trades back from late lotto for two mid 1st One team trades a late 1st for a vet A handful of teams exchange 2nds FIN “what a crazy night”
"YAY, I've been traded to my hometown Indianapolis!" Me: "Yay, we moved up to #13 as well as keeping the #2!"
The only reason the Rockets want Cade or Suggs is because of their leadership skills. If they pick Green(and they should) they have to keep John Wall because of his leadership skills. Suggs is a leader but is not a great scorer, although Cade is a leader and can score when we wants(Oklahoma State) and KJP is a nice player and i think we will be a great player but he is not a leader. Rookie year: 10 points a game and his second year: 16.6 points a game. Also, I believe he will either make a jump and score 20 points a game a be a star or keep averaging 15 or 16 points again this year. If that happens, that mean he have plateaued.....and this is who he is. This is a important year for KPJ, anyway this is the reason the Rockets needs Cade for his leadership, scoring and to trade John Wall to Clippers. We need CADE!!!!!
But have the Clippers given any real inclination as to take John Wall's gigantic salary off our hands?
Could you PLEASE say this again, D-Rock?!?! They didn't hear you in the back...This needs to be a 3 year rebuild.
Who is our target in the lottery if we trade back in? The Woj tweets are reason enough not to trade to one.
Smart move by them to turn it down. Don’t let presti get away with not throwing in more of those picks he’s been hoarding. If I’m Detroit I’m asking for a 2022 unprotected along with the 6th this year. **** Okc.
Monday, July 26: We are (allegedly) not there yet. Thursday, July 29: We are there. He’s the one. He’s been the one since the beginning. Never a doubt we were taking Cade. The one guy we wanted all along.
