Give us our Westbrook picks back plus both of their ones this year. Deal.

Why would OKC want to move up to Rockets spot?

    Hmmmmmm

Seeing Cavs and OKC jockeying for position to get him, while Rockets-sphere seems to already decide the #2, makes my palm sweat. OKC the team that drafted KD, Harden and Russ is trying to draft Mobley.

Sam Presti sees an opportunity to get another good one.

Presti has always put a premium on size, length (huge wingspans) and skill (versatility).

    https://okcthunderwire.usatoday.com...pected-to-begin-making-calls-for-trade-talks/

“If there is a player they target, that they want, like Evan Mobley from USC… and they want to get up in the draft to try to get him at three … they can keep coming at them with assets,” Wojnarowski said.

    https://okcthunderwire.usatoday.com...w-big-thunders-lineup-can-be-with-draft-luck/

“The two best players in the class are Cade Cunningham, a 6-foot-8 playmaker, and Evan Mobley, a mobile 7-footer. Landing one of them would allow the Thunder to someday utilize lineups in which Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (6-foot-6) would be the smallest player on the court.

I want my picks back. All of them. I want all three years of this team's future back. Does OKC want to cry about it or make a bit of magic before the clock runs out on both teams?

Also, I want David god-damn Putney just because I feel like it.

Hold the pick and draft Green. In a rebuild, it's nice to accumulate picks, but at some point those picks have to be pushed in and turned into players. If you are in a full rebuild, and you have the number two draft pick, you take a player that may potentially be a star. You don't continue to trade to accumulate more picks. If the player turns into a star, that accelerates your rebuild potentially by quite a few years. And that's just one of your draft picks. If you trade back, you undoubtedly set your rebuild back.

This draft is deep man you're not sure of quality cuz of how deep the draft is. The top picks just ensure they have a higher floor but ceiling is up in the air.

For example if Scottie Barnes and Kuminga develop a 3 pt shot they are probably better than Green already.

I'd be ok trading down if OKC massively overpays for it.

OKC is in a position to make a Godfather offer. I understand what you mean, but at least give them the CHANCE to overpay big time. They have enough quality in all that quantity to make us very happy.
