Perhaps the most surprising series i watched in the last year. Amazing. that said, not sure they should do another one.
Why would you put a show that can be universally loved only on apple tv? Not the average boomer know what that is? Put it on tnt or usa network or even an hbo or something. Apple tv is trash.
Apple tv, what a joke. So you guys are telling me you owned apple devices? I thought as a group collectively we are pro android, no? Unless, you guys are watching this on like an iptv or whatever the cool kids are doing these days.
Fun fact - show loosely based on Ted Cruz who came from another country, into a new country, and made his team (Texas) so great through compassion and togetherness.
Are you confusing Apple TV with Apple TV+ one is a device competing with Roku, etc, the other is a subscription-based, online-streaming content provider competing with Disney+, Netflix, Amazon and other original content producers. Apple TV+ subscriptions don’t require an Apple TV at all. Maybe Apple made a mistake naming their online streaming “channel”.
On topic though, what did you guys think of the first episode of season 2? For me, it didn't feel like it had the charm of anything from season 1. I couldn't care less about Rebecca's dating life. I get that they probably want to develop her character and paint her as more than a rich divorcee, but I fast forwarded through that whole bit with her breaking up with that dude. Interested in seeing the dynamic of Ted and the sports psychologist, though.
