Rockets stonewalled: no individual workout w/ Mobley nor Suggs

If true, I’m officially resigning from the Evan Evolution and joining the Green Gang.

 

I think Mobley‘s and Suggs‘ agent think it’s a waste of time to go to these workouts because they think we take Jalen Green anyway.

I would like to get Jalen Green but I’d definitely love to get Mobley and even Suggs in for workouts to see what they got and make the best decision.

 

That’s a pretty weak mentality. I sort of get it from Suggs’ prospective, but Mobley? Nah.

They both are with Wasserman. I think Mobley is being hidden a little. He’s doing very little PR. I don’t think he likes this process very much and his agents are protecting him.

 

I’m starting to buy the stories about Mobley’s softness.

 

2nd pick and can’t get any of the top prospects to work out for them LOL

 

This seems right. I kinda sorta get Suggs not wanting to work out. If he feels he's got no chance at #2 (or maybe really wants to go to Toronto at 4) there's no reason to come here and risk a bad workout. Mobley not wanting to work out for us or Detroit seems like kind of a red flag. I've been going back and forth on Green vs. Mobley this entire time and was slightly leaning Mobley. If this is true I'm back to Green.

Didn’t Green workout with us? Cade said he would, too, if we traded up.

 

This is just weird, especially Suggs not working out with the Rocket.

 

I’ll reserve judgement for now, but if he doesn’t workout for the Rockets because they perceive the organization is locked in on Green that is WEAK. Where is the passion and will to compete? The reason you workout in the first place is to improve or solidify your draft stock. He should be of the mindset that he is going to go into that workout, kill it, and show them they they would be making a huge mistake passing on him. This makes no sense to me at all, but there is still time.

I mean the mentality of Mobley has been questioned by multiple people now. Does seem to fit into the narrative.

We got Green who is shooting for the prom queen before turning to the head cheerleader, and then there’s Mobley who won’t ask anyone to the dance because he’s afraid someone will turn him down and hurt his feelings.
