Shams says the Rockets have done extensive research on Cade (duh), and we see how hard and how long they’ve been trying to move up. This has been a thing for weeks now, and they still haven’t given it up.
There was a Tweet that caught some heat yesterday saying a similar thing. Do you have a link to this message board?
One interesting thing about Cade's college season was his difference in the 1st and 2nd halves of the game. His scoring in 2nd halves doubled his 1st half point total during the season. He was notorious for starting slow in terms of shooting and being more of a facilitator in the 1st half, and then looked to take over in the 2nd half. I wonder why this was the case? One reason I could think of is Cade adjusting to a role he's not particularly use to yet. He played on one of the most stacked high school teams in recent history, so his role was never to be a ball dominating scorer. Same thing goes for his time on the US Junior national teams. It's interesting to think potentially how much scoring damage he could have done, if he had a scoring mentality from the get go. I actually think once he gets more comfortable with the lead scoring option mindset, its going to open up his playmaking/passing even more. Teams were kind of playing him for the pass early in games and he forced some passes leading to his high turnover numbers.
Luka Doncic is deceptively fast, he can go by Kevin Porter Jr. Cade we'll see in the NBA. The Playoffs is about speed and switching, exposing weak defenders on switches.
It's funny that this is spreading because the original source is an obvious joke/troll from a Houston fan just trying to be funny because he wants Cade to fall to #2
I think Stephen Silas really wants Cade Cunningham the most, Stephen Silas and Luka Doncic worked together and sees the same vision with Cade.
I like it! Some psychological warfare attempts, likely won't work on NBA Front Office, but worth a try.
I hate trolling and spreading fake news, but I want Cade lol…a Detroit radio station even picked this up just going to show how easy it is to spread false information
A big part of me feels that Green will have the better career. Just gut feeling based on athleticism and reports of a great work ethic.
It's the world we live in my friend. This is small time stuff, Nation States have Armies committed to spreading fake news and propping up their agendas.
