That was nice from Tucker. Ball was at his shins. Maybe Correa was starting to see that $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
He's certainly pressing. I wonder if he's trying to play though something that he would go on IL for in past years just because time on IL hurts his FA value? Maybe. I would, but I'm not an athlete and never was beyond amateur hour.
Tucks been squaring up the ball all year. He has hit it at people too often, but he doesn't apear to have lost confidence in his approach at any point. That's really hard to do.
Solid win for the good guys again. I can see the World Series trophy hoisted again now. What street is the parade usually on? I need to clear my schedule soon.
He was listed under the health/safety protocol IL, so they’d really be skirting some shenanigans if it wasn’t illness. Also, during past back flare-ups, he’s never come back within the week.
Did he? I must have missed that part. Certainly needs to re-focus, put in extra work now. Took Tucker about 2 weeks after his illness to start hitting the ball hard with consistency… and he’s probably now at the best he’s been all season. Yordan still has consistency issues, but does just enough every 2-3 days to forget about it. Why can’t they all be like Yuli/Brantley…. Bregman coming back, and getting his head more focused on baseball… less on salsa… will serve a huge boost to the rest of this already killer lineup.
