PSA to Rockets fans: Just because some mouth breather makes a video about the Rockets and uploads it to the innernette, it doesn't mean you have to watch it. You can see immediately that it will be terrible, and you can just walk away.
We have some talented members here (I'm not one of them!) who could uncork some terrific videos were the spirit to move them. Of course, our fearless, all powerful possessor of the BBS and it's children on Twitter and god knows where else can and has put out videos in his sleep about the Rockets. He's even better if he's awake. Putting @Clutch aside, or pretending to, we really do have some talent amongst our tens of thousands of members. Heck, @Rocketeer has made some incredible wallpapers in the past. Yes, that's not a video, but I wish he'd make us all a new wallpaper at some point after the draft. Some of our members have written excellent columns that I always enjoy reading. We have some great Photoshop genies who work their magic from time to time. Then it's rumored that there are those members who sometimes reminisce at length about the adventures they had decades ago in their youth just to irritate @KingCheetah. I don't know any of them, however.
If we want to do a true clean rebuild, Wood really needs to be moved. I am not sure if it is possible to make a series of moves involving our draft assets to obtain the #3 or #4 pick in addition to keeping #2 and KPJ, and top 5 protection on our future firsts, but that would be ideal.
I’ll make a new one of whomever the Rockets end up selecting #2 next Thursday. Should be an exciting day for all of us regardless.
I don’t see Dame as a Rocket nor wanting to be a Rocket. I could see us being a part of a 3 or 4 team trade with Dame going to New Orleans or LA.
