Can sengun do this ? It’s not particularly incredible, but Dmo was taller .

Imo they are similar range prospects . The game is better suited for more skilled bigs today too , there’s less of a mandate to bulk up .

I’m saddened we never got to see a healthy Dmo develop with the rockets alongside harden or MDA

ps handles so good here imho he can play point forward no problem in future...if jannis did it this guy also can

 

his handles look pretty good . And he’s a more explosive athlete than dmo . Dmo was slightly underrated in that regard , but I digress.

however ... can sengun do THIS !?!?!?

 

hes amazing...if he were a college guy he would be a consensus no 1 pick

Debating between mobley, green and cunningham who would have a better nba career, and this guy somehow outplays them.

 

Scottie Barnes and Alperen Sengun would be helluva good haul for Magic.

 

He showed me underrated athleticism. His IQ is very good. Lottery confirmation in my opinion.

 

for me personally it would wilder if the usual suspects were to become what they were thought of ie the stars

at this point its to be expected that a non lottery pick outperforms the loterry
the way i see it mayority of the teams or GMs either lack or even dont want to use basketball probing tools while making decision who to draft and they go for marketability, because if you miss on the hyped up guy you gonna take heat and got fired.. and nobodys firing you if you didnt pick jokic at 41 or yannis at 15 because half the leagues GMs missed on those

 

D-Mo got injured in the best performance of his life vs AD and that was unfortunately the end for him.
