If he is as good as Wiggins that would be a huge win, Wiggins was twice as good coming into the nba, waaay better jump shot, taller, longer wingspan and as athletic. Let’s not get carried away.

Did you think that because of their dad and the family's social media following? I thought the consensus was that LaMelo always had more talent than Lonzo. IMO, Lonzo is a low key guy and not ego driven. And LaMelo carries himself well in interviews. I think their dad's boisterousness and outrageous claims really turned some fans against his kids.

Mostly because of his stint with the Australian league. I didnt follow him too closely but enough to know his attitude, conduct and performance in that league was subpar at best. Also he was reportedly not great in the interview process with the warriors. Edwards had major question marks about his personality/drive too while Wiseman on the other killed the interview process and looked how that turned out lol.

Its still early in their careers tho, so I wouldn't be too surprise if any of them become busts or all-stars.

Mobley reminds me of a super skinny, frail Kwame Brown.

That comparison could not be further from the truth.

7 footer is harder to come by. I'm fine with either Green or Mobley. It's just harder to develop a big man. I prefer taking Green. Then get big man through free agent or trade.

    Wow.

So Mobley is just so talented that he doesnt have to work at basketball at all, just fall out of bed with his PG skills and end up as top 3 pick?

So why does my prolific posting chap your ass so much?

    I'm just retweeting amirite?

Why don't you dispute Schmidt on Mobley's ability to defend 1-5 as well as rim protect?

Because you cant, you rather obsess over Mobley's ass instead.

Admit it, you are all about that boy's bass.

Respectfully, I think this post assumes A LOT. I don't have a dog in this fight, really. I don't follow the amateur game like I do the pros, so I'm not a Green guy or a Mobley man. I'm ready to root hard for the newest Houston Rocket... whoever that may be.

But making proclamations like this without personally knowing the young man feels wrong.

Evan Mobley has potential but is clearly a gamble.

    Draft night will be fun.

Fertitta isnt about winning though. Running this franchise like another Landry's acquisition.

Ive got news for you boys. Everything Landrys touches turns to crap.

Why would this be any different?

Yup, it's super early in their careers. I think Wiseman showed some good flashes last year. I also think LaMelo is highly unlikely to be a bust at this point, dude is a wizard with the ball. As good as Ball was I think Edwards had the best season. It was rough to start, but he had a monstrous finish putting up superstar numbers. In his last ten games he averaged 26/6/4 on 51.4% from the field and 38.5% from deep. He's future all-star.
