My inner Rockets fan just hanged himself in the closet after reading this post. Even if it echoes what I have wondered.

I still wonder if other players in this draft will wind up with better NBA careers than our top 3-4. It's such a crap shoot.

Mobley isn't a good shooter. You draft him for his defense. His hip is high too, hard to dribble lower. It will be easy to strip his ball if he try to dribble.

I don’t expect Mobley to be amazing offensively…he’ll end up as an efficient 17-18 ppg guy on lobs, putbacks, PnR, and the occasional drive or jumper with a high end of maybe 22 ppg if a lot of the stuff he tries to do out on the wing translates and he really improves his shot…then he’ll dominate defensively

that is my guess for best case scenario

Well Barnes is likely the best player in this draft if he learns to shoot and is more assertive offensively. He is the best passer in this class, has awesome size and is a strong athlete. He is similar to Kwahi Leonard in some regards. However if he doesn't become more assertive or shoot better, he is a role player.

Mobley isn't a bad shooter really and is projectable for sure but I don't think he will ever be great but can be above average. He has excellent hands and has a natural aptitude as a dribbler and passer. He actually has a better to/ast ratio than Cunningham and was on a team with even less talent.

I love Green telling teams he would have gone #1 had he gone to college, as he would have dominated.... love the confidence and arrogance of his game.

Yep, Barnes is the one I have my eye on (I guess that would involve a trade-back for Orlando's two top 10 picks, but I digress). Great D, passing, high motor. Shooting needs work but I can cross my fingers on that one.

Green has no lack of confidence, 2B sure.

I tried to watch NCAA Tournament games and catch something of these guys but it just didn't happen, so I can't pin my expectations here or there. I can only go by what others say. The dudes at the top should be pretty good NBA players but I don't necessarily see an AD, a Beal, whatever......but it could happen.

It's a decent "problem" to have. Better than drafting at #18 and sending someone to drain the brake fluid on Morey's vehicle.

An aspect that gets lost in all of this hype is Silas is a guard whisperer.

He’s worked with lots of guards including Curry and Luka…who green has happened to work out with.

And I absolutely see Silas just falling in love with this kid once they meet one on one.

So you're saying if we trade down then we can have him at 4? Noice!

Scottie Barnes measured 6'8 w/out shoes.

    https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro/

Jalen Green is a legit 6'6.

Looks like Ziaire Williams grew or something. He's almost 6'10" from those combine measurements. I thought he was "only" 6'8".

@Reeko was right, Scottie Barnes only 6'7 without shoes.

Read it too quickly the first time.

JT Thor just under 6'9 barefoot.

It's always a crap shoot in the draft it is never guaranteed. Who knew Kawhi would turn into a much better player than Andrew Wiggins pre draft?

It is hard to sayif Green is 6'6 or 6'5 cuz he didnt take measurements.

I thought GLeague was accurate but they had Isiah Todd at 6'10 but only 6'8.25 in the combine.

Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr., KJ Martin Jr.

Maybe they can add some height.
Jalen is 19, Porter is 21, KJ is 20

Evan Mobley guarding Track Star Point Guards in the NBA on switches.

I have a hard time believing he can guard the perimeter in the NBA.

College Point Guards don't run mismatches and switches.

The NBA 3 point line is wider and deeper.

Only Olajuwon can play in today's NBA.

Maybe (but probably not) Jalen, but it's very rare to keep growing after 18, let alone 20.
