Woj: Jalen Green will only workout with the Pistons and Rockets

I'm going to be very happy and eat crow if Mobley becomes a big success on the Rockets. I hope you will support Green if he plays well in Houston if he's selected by Stone.

Come on he won't come near that level. I like Green, but I don't overrate him.

 

Green hasn't worked out with Houston, neither has Mobley, nor has Suggs. It's entirely possible that the 2nd pick may be in play along with the others for a trade. It's also possible that the Rockets can have unannounced workouts with them in the next few days.

 

Sorta like Kobe choosing what team he wants go to?

I want Hakeem Olajuwon to workout with Evan Mobley. Let's see if he has legitimate post moves.

I honestly believe Evan is more of a Face up to the basket Shooter than a Back to the basket post up player.

I dunno about you guys but I’d feel kinda bad if Detroit took Green and Cade fell to us. If Cade is all that and a bag of chips he better go #1 as expected. I personally think Green will be the better player and I’m mentally set for him to be a Rocket.

 

I'm not the one shi##ing on him. I'm joking about bobbythegreat's withering irrational hatred for him. I hope if we take him he'll be The One and we'll call him Neo and he'll save us from the Matrix.

 

Honestly, it doesn't matter much to me if it's either Green or Mobley despite my preference for the former. There's no doubt that Evan is a athletic two way player, and Green isn't one. The only reason I'm giving the edge to Jalen, is because he seems to handle physical contact better.

If Green turns out to be 6'3" instead of 6'5", I would go with Mobley, unless he has a poor workout.

I hope both the Jalens and Evan will workout for Houston. Suggs isn't my second preference, but I will be happy with him too. I like his overall maturity, physicality and smarts.

 

I think any of the Big 4 in this draft will be fine. There's a lot of pressure when drafting this high not to whiff on the next Harden or AD or Bosh, even Beal.

I am confident that ee won't wind up with Darko Milocic, so there's that.

 

The LoF fans have subsided (maybe a few still around). Honestly didn't know Green's ethnicity until a couple months ago, when someone mentioned it here.

Not mean this as an insult or anything, but projecting the future... if Rockets draft Green, are we going to get an influx of Filipino-american fans on the board.

I'm sure there there are existing folks... but question is if new people are coming because of Green. -_-

That was the feeling which is fine. Since it's existing/OG members chatting. But if drafted though, there could be a swarm. (...just a feeling... maybe it's nothing).
