Woj: Jalen Green will only workout with the Pistons and Rockets

Wonder what the posters who think Cade is big headed because will only work out for Pistons think now about Green?

 

Cavs really are a poverty franchise. Damn and they just tried out Evan Mobley.

Im starting to believe all the "Jalen promised to be drafted by Team X" chatter. All the social media smoke. KPJ talking about "dont say too much" etc.. etc..

Will Cade come try out for us now?

 

Writing has been on the wall for some time now. This is why conspiracists have merit.

Adam Silver probably promised us a top 4 pick a while back. How can the scouting on Green vs Mobley vs Suggs be done so quickly that we gave Green a draft promise almost a month out from draft night?

 

Jalen Green must be a cocky diva, he’s only working out with 2 teams…at least according to the logic used on here

 

Has Mobley even been invited for a workout by the Rockets? Strange he worked out for the Cavs but not for DET or HOU. Cade doesnt want to work out for anyone other than DET.

Who have the Rockets worked out? Anyone have a list?

I will be surprised if Cade tries out for another team unless Detroit is trading the pick to us and we want to work him out…Cade to Detroit seems like a formality at this point

also seems like Jalen Green knows he’s not slipping past Houston, but it doesn’t hurt to try out for Detroit as well I guess

 

Everything is pointing to us picking Green. He's the best SG prospect in a long time.

 

You have to ask yourself, if Mobley is really that much better of a prospect than Green why aren’t we seeing reports of the Pistons enamored by him for the 1st pick. All I’m seeing from many league sources is that there is a contingent from the Pistons FO that likes Green.

If you see some of the ridiculous opinions on this board for Mobley you’d think he’s the second coming of Anthony Davis…

Fact of the matter is that this draft is a 3 way race with a slight edge going to the guard prospects due to how today’s league is. Not taking anything away from Mobley, in other years he would be the clear cut number 1 prospect.

But the amount of poo flinging I’ve seen here from both sides is staggering. It’s almost as if you’re not talking about basketball just using this place as a way to stroke your ego and prove people wrong. I hope all three guys go on to have great careers.

 

Thats the oddity. Detroit will bring in Jalen? Most of it posturing I guess from Detroit in all the buzz about possible movement from them so bringing in another player to workout may solidify that thought and force other teams to up the ante if they are willing to trade for Cade.

Cade should come try out for Houston too just to make Detroit sweat a little. I dont blame Cade for not wanting to risk pick #1 money in a freak accident or just a bad workout. I get the rationale from his camp, but if he is THAT good lets put it on display at a professional workout.

Also, not that it will happen, but imagine if the Pistons took Cunningham, the Rockets took Mobley.....Cleveland doesn't need a 2, they take Suggs or Barnes. Rockets haven't had this type Athletic Scorer since Tracy McGrady, Young James Harden, Clyde Drexler.

Kevin Porter Jr and Jalen Green look very similar in scoring and Athleticism.
