Ws ts% efg% trb% all prove nothing as well? You ignore that cuz it doesnt fit your narrative. Yeah you are done cuz all you can do is lie at this point.
what exactly are you trying to argue? That AD was better? I told you he was already. But if you are trying to prove that he was the more polished offensive player by comparing ts% then I already told you why you can’t.
I'm trying to argue AD had better advanced stats across the board on both offense and defense. Not just TS% also includes efg%, BPM and OWS. He even did it on less usage rating. On defense it applies as well AD has ridiculous advanced stats that disprove the notion he wasnt dominant in Kentucky. He was. Guys like MKG and TJone notwithstanding AD still dominanted as shown by his advanced stats which are almost all higher than Mobley. Mobley has good advanced stats too but given AD had much higher and didnt have a great rookie year I dont expect Mobley to come in and instantly make an impact offensively or defensively. He might be better than rookie Capela but prob not by much. I wouldnt be surprised if he puts up nos but those arent gonna be due to ability its due to playing time I dont expect his FG% to be higher than AD's 53% for Mobley's rookie year. This isnt some earth shattering proclamation the common notion is Mobley is a project and will suck his first year in the league. Unlike you I dont expect him to be a positive impact immediately I expect him to be closer to Poku than Melo in terms of instant impact. Meaning I dont expect him to be better than an average NBA player his rookie year.
Mobley is not gonna be poku wtf lol poku is an interesting player but he was legit one of the worst players in nba history as a rookie. Mobley is gonna be better than Cade and green combined next year.
Isaiah Mobley was the 2nd best player on that USC team. And he was a fringe 2nd rounder. He withdrew from draft to improve his stock. Eaddy did not apply for the draft because he knew he had to improve even more than Isaiah. UDFA at best if he came out now. That USC team did NOT have a lot of talent.
USC had less talent than OK state yet the excuse everyone uses for why Cade’s numbers weren’t better is always that he had bad teammates. How come that didn’t affect Mobley? People just can’t accept the fact that Cade did not live up to the hype, yet he is going to back his way into a #1 selection exactly the same way Wiggins did, based on pre-college hype that people can’t snap out of. Cognitive dissonance at its finest.
This is a completely disingenuous arguement. Mobley doesn't just have great advanced stats, his advanced stats are ELITE. Only AD has had better box +/- in the last decade. Mobley came in at number 2 in the top 4. Every single other player in top 4 is All Star caliber. Mobley led the entire NCAA in Win Shares too. https://raptorsrapture.com/2021/07/08/raptors-1-advanced-stat-proves-evan-mobley-star-nba/ https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/20...-mobley-has-been-for-usc-trojans-this-season/ https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/evan-mobley-raptors-draft
I said Mobley had good stats already. If you wanna argue he had great stats ok fine lol. Bottom line is its still less than AD right? Almost every stat Mobley is behind AD. And AD didnt have a great rookie year he was below average level as a big man with 0 3 pt he shot 53% from fg. So by that metric I really dont think Mobley would fare better.
Im not even MobleyMob (as you know) and watching his highlights are still fun as heck to watch. Like I have no problem with anyone saying this is the next AD… or an even better AD. And Ad/Giannis combo lol. cause I mean yeah in the best of upside scenarios … that player can be found in there. sadly… I just don’t think he’ll get there. Just a tad too plodding in his fluidity and too passive in mentality at the moment (is there a killer in there?… maybe I just am not sure if). but I’ll be rooting like heck for that upside case of Rockets draft him. Id be ok with him as the pick… just prefer Green a tad.
I. Mobley played well against UCLA and Oregon and the Trojans got solid guard play as well in the Tourney.
For the sake of balance, as Jalen's weaknesses and opportunties have been mentioned many times. He was dominant vs Drake and perhaps Kansas, but this is Mobley's perfromance vs Gonzaga in the tournament: To be fair he has a chance to be a beast, but there are questions marks for all the players at the top as well. Jalen Suggs, No. 1 Gonzaga Rout Evan Mobley, No. 6 USC to Earn Final Four Berth Any stubborn, lingering doubts about just how good this Gonzaga team is were again dismissed. Gonzaga's offense has long been dynamic, but it was the pesky defense that set the tone early and forced the Trojans into 10 turnovers. Big man Drew Timme outplayed likely top-five NBA draft pick Evan Mobley. Jalen Suggs carved up USC's defense as both a scorer and a facilitator. Key Stats Drew Timme, Gonzaga: 23 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga: 18 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists Corey Kispert, Gonzaga: 18 points, eight rebounds, 6-of-19 from the field Evan Mobley, USC: 17 points, five rebounds Isaiah Mobley, USC: 19 points, seven rebounds Drew Peterson, USC: 13 points, six rebounds Evan Mobley Played Well, Just Not Well Enough Given how dominant the Zags were Tuesday, Evan Mobley could have played his best game of the season against them and it might not have mattered. There was a clear talent disparity on display in this one. But it's also fair to note that Mobley was simply outplayed down low by Timme. Mobley has more raw talent, but Timme's added year of experience played a factor in the head-to-head matchup. You can bet NBA scouts will take a good, long look at this game when scouting Mobley. It may not hurt his draft stock too much, if at all—it's just one game in an excellent overall season—but he looked like the fourth-best player on the court behind Suggs, Kispert and Timme. https://bleacherreport.com/articles...evan-mobley-no-6-usc-to-earn-final-four-berth
LOL Of course, because Evan Mobley has the gravitational pull to give his teammates more space. And what makes Evan special is his ability to improve everyone around him via his passing. THIS is part of his skillset that makes him such a winner. Transition – Runs like an track athlete. Upward form. Fluid athlete. Explosive around the rim. Can be turnover prone in transition. But when he runs out, he finishes about 73% aFG%. Every fifth transition possession gets him to the free throw line. PnR Ball handling – only 3% of his offensive output, but the flashes were brilliant. Uses length size and feel to create space for himself and others. Already knows how to find the roll man. More turnover prone when trying to pick up shot up shooters out of the PnR. Seems unstoppable when attacking the rim as a PnR ball handler. ISO scoring – Only played about one ISO possession per game, but shown immense flashes. Currently a slightly better ISO creator than scorer. 58% aFG as an ISO scorer. Very secure, composed with the ball in these situations. His feel for the game really comes alive. Brilliant at finding open teammates for either cuts or open threes. Draws shooting fouls at a very high rate. Could be a Giannis level ISO player in the future. 63% on drives out of an ISO situation. When he tightens his handle its hard to imagine anyone staying in front of him on the next level. Cuts – Active without the ball. Doesn’t fall asleep when the ball isn’t in his hands. Finishes close to 2 cuts per game with a 76% aFG%. Every forth cut sends him to the free throw line. Defense– Generational Rim protector talent. Good rebounder , with 14.7% rebound percentage. When his body reaches its final form he might creep up to 17, 18%. Absolutely elite block percentage of 9,1%. Most good and great rim protectors and shot blockers are round 5-6%. Fast feet for his height, long arms. Will be able to guard wings and switch onto guards. https://what-to-consume.com/2021/03/29/nba-draft-2021-evan-mobley-scout-report/

Mobley/ ?/ DJ Wilson Woods/ Tate Martin/ House Gordon/ Porter/ Thomas Wall/Porter / Augustin / Brooks Draft Mobley and unleash Kevin Martin Jr
It really is unbelievable how long Wiggins was able to do just enough for that hype to last so long that it got him a super max extension when he really does not deserve it. I think it was Lou Williams who mentioned how perception in the league matters, and that is why he has never made over $10m in a season.
https://www.si.com/nba/2021/07/20/nba-mock-draft-cade-cunningham-evan-mobley-jalen-green Much of the chatter I’ve heard the past couple weeks has suggested that the Rockets prefer Green to Evan Mobley at this spot. There have been reports in recent weeks that Houston has interest in trading up with Detroit to take Cunningham, but the vast majority of speculation from other teams has centered on Green as the presumptive fit at No. 2. His ability to create his own shot gives him a chance to be a legitimate offensive fulcrum, and the Rockets are positioned to take a swing on upside. For what it’s worth, Green’s camp is thought to prefer Houston as a destination, rather than landing in Cleveland one pick later. Devin Booker’s evolution from promising scorer into a well-rounded perimeter centerpiece provides a blueprint for Green’s development, with his exceptional athleticism giving him major upside.
