Green has the highest upside but Cunningham is a sure thing. I'm good with either.

Exactly. We hold at #2 and no matter what Detroit does Houston wins!

Puff piece lmao calling him grown, still has a 15 year old body and acts like a punk kid. Suggs or Cade are both vastly more mature and interested in winning as opposed to the limelight.

JG has been a star for years. All this is just a formality. Humble and hungry the guys wired like him don’t need anyone else to push them to the breaking point. That’s the difference between good and great.

Green brings a social media following and international marketing empire with him. It’s a sound business move to pick him at 2 besides the obvious basketball benefits.

This is correct. Green doesn’t play defense and runs backwards every time he doesn’t take a shot. His effort level s awful and don’t buy into puff pieces.

…..quit reading and start watching. Challenge for anyone on this site, attach a clip where Green plays defense and doesn’t run back when his teammates shoot. Bonus points if you can find a clip where he actually fights for a rebound on a teammate’s shot. Good luck!

Your hate towards Green is uncalled for.

Four rebounds and a steal and a half a game for a 6'5", 18 year old guard playing with grown men...

Weren't you the one that started that thread about Marcus Morris being our next franchise player? And that anyone who wanted Kawhi instead was dumb?

I like him okay, it just feels like we kinda already have him in Kevin Porter Jr. I don’t see our garbage defense improving with these guys playing next to each other, although offensively it would be fun. I guess I just see a ton of flash and not much winning from those two together. I do think it will sell seats though, which is probably all we need to know about who they are going to select.

I see what you are saying but it's like Portland not drafting Jordan because they had Drexler. Nobody knows how these guys will turn up but that's a good problem to have if both KPJ and Green are all-star caliber players. We can always develop and trade for fit if needed.

It's always easier to trade great talent that is not needed than to develop would be talent for a position we are lacking.

Honestly, any player of the top 5 in this draft will be a great player in the NBA. I wouldn't mind who the Rockets get.

I just can't imagine not rolling the dice on Green -- he definitely seems like a guy that would be the unquestioned #1 pick in another draft.
