He looks like Billy Joel's illegitimate son. Dude could be sitting on a fortune and throwing it away.
Ideally, I agree with you. I'm high on green. I don't know enough to think that cade is that much better and I don't feel cade is an obvous undisputed no 1 like a Lebron or what not, but of course he can still be special with his skillset. I'm happy with green, very happy. also think there will be gems late in the first and would like to take swings on tat. I think no one knows whose going to be the best in this one. Mobleys got the athletic tools, defensive instincts, but there is a whole lot of places that can go. people are hoping Cade resembles Luka being average athletic, but great size, great handles and vision, and a soft touch. The draft has never been an exact science. but if I can somehow get the no 1 and 2, that might change my track on KPJ. WE got him for a steal, I'm still not sure he would go no 1/2 in this draft but hes obviously a hell of a talent and young. That 50 point harden like game makes me never want to let him go, but we get 4 years of elite prospects and I think that would be great for us. Pg. Cade Sg. Green 3/4 Tate and KMJ 5. Wood I'd get another big and team can be a lot of fun to build on.
Yea its almost standard. f you are guaranteed a top pick, don't go risk injury and losing money by working out for others. Any good agent would tell their client that. Amazing how these narratives get hold...yea he should definitley go workout for later pick, risk injury, risk money and the team if he has an offday will gladly lower his value...makes no sense for the prospect.
Yea I don't think they will. KMJ is special, but not sure he'd go top 2 in this draft although you have to take a look. We all saw what he did last year or the flashes he showed, he can be special. But it looks the pistons GM is really holding strong about his rookie last year Hayes being the future
I hope the Rockets can get a good young upcoming player from the Pistons in return for their 1st round pick, in case they refuse to exchange the 1st pick for our second pick. @ApacheWarrior
He'll get a home run no matter who he picks....unless it's Suggs straight up smh. At the end of the day all 3 of Cade, Green and Mobley are great prospects and would go no 1 in weaker drafts. Like last year just compare Green, Mobley, and Cade vs Edwards lmao. There is no "bad" pick even trading down is a viable option given the depth of this class. For example if Rox trade down and get Suggs and OG or Barnes and Kai Jones that would also be a good move imo. I would relax Stone has 3 picks in this draft and 3 picks in next year's draft which is reportedly deeper than this year's. It's almost impossinle to screw this up...
I'm convinced that Cade is the best player in the draft. I think Weaver will take him. I wouldn't sell the farm for him. I hope he will fall to number 2, so Stone can grab him. Mobley is not as mature as him. Cade can handle heavier responsibility than him. Green can become the best scorer out of the draft.
It would probably depend on who was available. If someone you have ranked at 6 or 7 falls to that spot, pull the trigger. If you came out of this draft with your 2nd and 6th ranked players while only using this year's picks and Gordon, that's a definite win.
Disagree. Kuminga and Bouknight would still be on the board. I think the talent starts dropping after pick 8.
I like them, but not enough to give up the 13th, Detroit's 1st round pick and either the 23rd or the 24th pick.
