He looks strong and quick. His jumper appears to be smoother as well.

He's filling out. I think he'll always have a herky jerky shot. Not a bad thing as long as its comfortable for him and he gets good looks and ultimately makes the expected percentages. He doesnt have the silky, smooth almost perfect mechanics on his shot like Jalen Green, but maybe JG can help him once he makes it here! ;)

6'5 left handed point with that type of athleticism? Just needs to use his head and be in the right spots on defense and everything should work out famously.

Both Cade and Mobley fit better with KPjr. As well as Wood.

Because both Cade and Mobley are so OPTIONAL, they would fit with any franchise player.

Lot of talk between actual GMs or internet GMs?

man i was hoping he'd work with a shooting coach to fix his trebuchet of a shot.

big doubts it's ever going to be reliable/consistent with that motion and release.

Why does Jalen Green not fit?

Did you enjoy Clyde Drexlers shooting form?

Green fits, just not as well.

KPjr adores Green but neither are that efficient offensively. And both will have to be surrounded by long defensive players.

Need players that can fit with the Rockets franchise player, whoever that player eventually is.

Players that are 2 way and don't require ball to have impact is better way to go.

not particularly no. but clydes release was much higher and he didn't bring the ball completely across this body. it also took a long time for drexler to develop range (like 10 years in the league).

I'm a big KPJ fan and definitely rooting for his success but he won't ever reach his potential if he can't become a CONSISTENT threat from deep. we already saw how streaky he is last season.

I enjoyed the championship Clyde's shooting brought to Houston.

But why "Not as well" its okay for it to be opinion just curious where you can be so vocal about Mobley and Cade yet so distant on Green when those guys are MARGINALLY better than one another.

I disagree - wholeheartedly, but thats ok.

I agree with the sentiment of "become a better shooter" .. I dont think a pretty shot has anything to do with effectiveness. He had a good shooting stretch to finish the year IIRC.

Awesome video unexpected Bird twist at the end -- Drex was really amazing in his prime.

Petrie did a great job with Clyde's J.

Eventually, I see Scoot busting it from downtown at a minimum of 35%. This, along with living up to his DEFENSIVE potential...which I think is huge. These two things along with the rest of his game combine to put him off the charts. We've seen enough to have an idea of what's in there, but if he puts it all together....

I dont think Green will be our franchise player, 1 dimensional and inefficient.

Maybe he will grow into that in few years but if he isn't then his need to dominate the ball to have impact may hinder our actual franchis player's growth.

KPjr and Green are such similar players right now, sky high upside but limited/unreliable defensively, most importantly both are very ball dominant.

Except Porter was a gift, cost us nothing.

If Green is our pick, I will root like hell for me to be wrong.

I'm a Rockets fan first after all.
