LOL I'm not a Queta fan. MAYBE as an UDFA. No way he should be drafted. Even as SRP. My preference is EJ Onu. YOU are the one who prefers Bassey over Mobley. I like do like Bassey but only as SRP, not at 23 or 24.
One thing Capela also had going for him to speed up his development was playing with James Harden. Personally without Harden I think Capela never makes it in the league. He was spoon fed easy buckets all day and Harden kept the game simple for him. This current Rockets team has no one to help Mobley develop. Which scares me.
With all this talk of Green vs. Cunningham, somehow I'm really thinking about picking Mobley. Cunningham is just not going to happen and Mobley is a special talent.
Not at #2......yes Bassey around end of 1st to beginning of 2nd. I know you recently mentioned him falling out of draft. I doubt that. Unfortunately for Queta the game is not played entirely in half court. He will be asked to run the length of the court.
I said Bassey in danger of falling out of first round, not entire draft. His knee must still be a concern.
I'm sorry, I saw a post from you in which I read it as saying Bassey may be falling out of entire draft. Comment following a mock draft linked on CF thread in which the Nets take Bassey somewhere around #58. Apologies
2 weeks left, the closer to the draft, the more Jalen Green should be the pick. Comparing Mobley to Giannis is just absurd, Greek freak had something to prove in the NBA and basically came from no background of basketball. He was Akeem without college and English. He had to work real hard to make it stick in the NBA and stay in USA. I don't think Mobley has that mentality of proving he belongs.
Never heard of Ocean music and never been to Comic-Con so I think that must be a good thing for NBA project.
Guess who loves comic books and comic book movies. Lebron and AD. https://comicbook.com/movies/news/los-angeles-lakers-marvel-anthony-davis-more-movies/ I'm sure the entire NBA loves this stuff as well.
Ogden was traditional 5. Like Green is the traditional SG. Durant was the versatile 7 footer with swiss army knife guard skills, essentially the Unicorn in that draft, e.g. Mobley.
