The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns have averaged 9 million viewers through the first three games of their NBA Finals matchup, per Nielsen television ratings. higher than the pandemic bubble, but still on par with Spurs-Cavs in 07 and Spurs-Nets in 03
I value Ayton more than Trae tbh. Yeah Trae is the better talent, but at the same time the league is overstuffed with guards. Ayton needs a no 1, but no 1 exist everywhere and you can get a no 1 as long as you have capspace. Luka/Cade is the rarer talent, after that Ayton/Mobley.
Cp3 with all those injuries to his hands; he has to find a way to be better in next 2 games or the suns are cooked
Ayton seems to have come back down to Earth. What's amazing about him is he only averaged 2.5 FTA per game, which is pathetic for a big man. But, I know it's harder to get big men involved on offense. We experienced this with Yao. This is why it is a perimeter player's league.
It's now a series. I think some in the sports media should calm down about the "Booker is the next Kobe" narrative. Hard to win when one of your best players only scores 4 pts in the 4Q.
After last night I was interested to take a look at Chris Paul’s GameScores comparing his postseasons with us and this postseason. I don’t mean to make the bballref stat GameScore out to be a be all end all number to 100% accurately judge how well a player played in a game but I like it as a decent rough estimate. Its safe to say a GameScore above 20 is a good game. And below 10 is pretty bad. # of games below 10 GameScore in playoffs 2018 : 2 2019 : 1 2021 : 7 Average GameScore 2018 : 17.2 2019 : 13.9 2021 : 16.7
I didn't watch the game, but saw NBA rigging Booker with no fouls. This has Game 7 all over it because NBA needs to recover lost revenue.
maaane you are so naive, they must have put outthere these blatant 2 non calls just to distract and cover the tracks of what they were really trying to do.... be better, be smarter next time!
harden faced an injured golden state team without Durant, and an injured spurs team without Kawhi, got owned in both times when he could have advanced. So don't talk to me about Giannis taking advantage of injured opponents. I wish for one time Harden could have done that for us. Harden had an efficient playoffs...against the Celtics lmao. He barely played in the 2nd round. Those stats aren't indicative of anything. That said I fully expect that Harden is efficient cause he is playing not he most talented roster in the league when healthy. Harden now has way more talent than Giannis has around him. He should be better but remember, he is the Nets 2nd best player. I'm not even a fan of Giannis, I just find it funny how Harden fans kept hating on Giannis these last 5 years. Even this year how many people were saying that Giannis got exposed in the Playoffs? Meanwhile Giannis keeps putting up ridiculous stat lines. I'm just calling out the bias.
lol at the rigged narrative because they didn't wanna have to toss Booker and effectively end the game right there yet the Bucks shot 10 more fts and won.
One game and thats still a core that won 73 games. Yea, he played bad in that game 6 that game sure. Lmaoooo, dude Trae young got hurt in game like what 3, Harden got hurt in game 1, Kyrie got hurt in game 3. Please dont act like it was the same situation, it was not. You dont have the context. So? He's had an efficient playoffs the last three years? And two of those years he had injured Cp3 and Russel Westbrook as help. They really are, a 76 TS% against an NBA team is good no matter how you wanna slice it. But reference the Lakers series last year where he averaged 30 a game on 66 TS% while being doubled while playing with Westbrook or the OKC series before that, or against the Warriors previously or the year where we took the GOAT team to 7 games. He's not their second best player an if he hadnt of gotten injured, he would have shown that. Keep talking out of your behind though. So what? I dont like his play style. Giannis is a great player but that I dont like him as a player. You're bitter because Harden left, I get that. But please...dont like your opinion has substance to it, it doenst, its bad. And you should feel bad, please stop coming at me with garbage.
I just have to shake my head at the Bucks. I've seen them cooked and left for dead in two series this year and yet they still find a way to come back. I haven't seen a team with this many flaws play with so much heart and determination in many years. I certainly didn't see this in Houston with D'Antoni's gimmicky system and Harden running the show but I digress. The Bucks simply don't quit no matter how bad things are going for them and I just have to applaud them for their strength of will and tenacity. Their last two wins to tie up the series were two of the best games I've seen this year.
They are playing the team that won the Western Conference. That's all you can ask of them or would you have preferred them to skip playing the Suns and demand to play team Lebron instead? You sound like one of those yahoos that disparaged the Rockets' two NBA titles because they didn't play Jordan or the Bulls. You completely missed my point here in that I am amazed at how a team with obvious shortcomings can play so hard and not fall apart when things don't go their way. It's something you rarely see nowadays especially where everyone wants to be on a superteam that is so talented that other teams don't stand a chance against them.
You guys can live in a world where all championships are created equal but the fact is, that's just not the case. And no I dont disparage the Rockets chip, and we DID beat the Bulls with Jordan. And they couldnt match up with us. Its easier to uh LOL "have will" when you are playing against a roster without a top 10 player, not to say the Suns team isnt good, they are. But they they arent the best and its very likely that they still win this championship still. Yea yea, super team this, super team that blah blah blah, Giannis has really REALLY good teammates. This team he has, has been better than Harden's for all of about one year maybe..two. Dont even get me started with like Dame or Luka.
I legit LOL'd at this and it's true. Like one moment Khris is like "man...I'm a walking bucket like Durant!" and the next minute he's like "so this is why I went in the 2nd round..."
Through 4 games, Giannis is averaging: 32.3 ppg, 14 rpg, 5.5 apg, 1.8 spg, and 1.5 bpg. 30.7 average GmScr. One of the best Finals performances of all time if he can keep it up and the Bucks win the series.
