yo this is just more Ryan Anderson Slander. He said he wasn't put in a position to succeed and that was true. So what if they were winning. He sacrificed as a role player so they could win. MDA didn't use Anderson to his full extent.. Look at all those Ryan Anderson highlight tapes before he got to Houston and was relegated to a spot up shooter because MDa and Harden didn't want to run a real offense. When Anderson was off MDA didn't scheme to get him EASIER shots.. We all know when Anderson was on, Rockets were damn near unstoppable. Please basketball Jesus dont make me defend ryan anderson again.. PLEASE!!!
Well he did get benched by PJ who was simply much better on defense and wasnlt that much worse from corner 3's. Seems like his confidence and ego was bruised and he played worse and worse
you could tell this dude got the yips. Ryan Anderson would be wide open and you heard all of Toyota Center gasp..
honestly I really wanted Ryno to do well, we were so much better when he was hitting his 3's. Something was wrong with him mentally. I remember when Chris Paul first came, he clicked with Ryno and we were winning a ton of games.
So the Rockets should stop what they’re doing that’s winning them 65 games, making them a contender, producing historic offense, and having them as a top defensive team in order to make Ryan Anderson happy? Lol, really? Stop All those Ryno tapes were on the Magic and Pelicans, aka mediocre-bad teams.
I remember when this is when Ryan Anderson was already in the weeds and already had the yips. For that brief amount of games, Every pass from CP3 was a bucket.. it was remarkable.
some of you cats dont understand while you complain about the same stuff over and over.... It's a damn team.. you're a better team if all your pieces are DYNAMIC. All that spotting up Ryno was doing winning 65 REGULAR season games came to a GRINDING halt in the playoffs when teams had a chance to see you for a 7 game series. if MDA and Harden were feeding Ryno in other places instead of at the 3 point line (which he was capable of doing) the Rockets would have been better for it.. come on man.. ninjas be crying that Ryan Anderson was a billionaire just spotting up.. well make him do something else and then make the team better as a result.
that’s on him then…if we were some bad team and his role was getting reduced and he was doing stuff he didn’t like, then ok, but we were trying to take down juggernaut GS and everything we were doing that year was highly effective…we didn’t have time to baby role players
everyone else did their job and accepted their role that year…everyone except for Ryan Anderson yeah, I’m sure Ryno post ups or midrange would’ve made a difference as his defense hemorrhaged points on the other end…
Ryan Anderson accepted his role you guys mad because he didn't LIKE his role.. keep it a buck.. Yeah and ryan anderson contributing in other places would have made the Rockets better.. And changing the defensive scheme to something else would have helped. MDA never adjusted to his situations he just kept running the same bullshit hoping it would work.
So he has a way he remembered things. “Two shots with like 2 seconds left on the shot clock” Let’s look at what actually happened. SEASON TOTAL 3 point attempts taken with 4 or less seconds on the shot clock 16/17 : 22 17/18 : 20
Dude has a hot wife and more money than he ever deserved. I'm sure playing alongside Harden was 63 year-old spanked-with-a-waffle-iron hooker ass, but his life could suck worse.
he had no place in a switching scheme on defense, and the Rockets weren’t about to change what they were doing on that end for him…PJ took his spot and PT, and it was a great decision his offense would’ve been nowhere near good enough to justify him being in the rotation…in 16-17 when we were happy with being below average defensively and our strategy against GS was “we’re hopelessly outmatched, so let’s try and hit 20 threes and hope they can’t keep up” he had a place in the rotation…in 17-18 where we’re looking to win it all and must be elite defensively, absolutely not…so he was left to cry as we won 65 games Ryno fans can’t accept reality
Ryan Anderson is not angry he was benched for his role on the team is what you fail to realize.. It was when he was playing he says he wasn't utilized the way he should have been.. Anderson is not a great defender but he isn't hopeless. There was time when people were scoring a feeble amount against him on 1v1 possessions. Blame MDA for putting Ryan Anderson in a game to switch on to Curry.. There were other options and MDA chose to put in Anderson and it doomed the Rockets.
