    Maybe, maybe not so fast.

I would be very worried about drafting a C that has averaged 4.7 rebounds (6.3 per36) a game in 126 games, at #2 overall.

    Call me crazy.

Whether he fits with Wood shouldn't be such a large consideration as far as I'm concerned.(Though there's a good chance he will)

Did Memphis draft Jackson to be their center and gobble up rebounds or did they draft him because of his size and ability to stretch defenses with his 3 point shot? No prospect is perfect and very few players are going to give you everything at an elite level. If you want 10+ rpg as a requisite sure you are going to shy away from drafting Mobley but, much like Jackson, Mobley can give you everything else. Call me crazy but I would be shocked if Stone drafted Mobley with the full intention of putting him in the paint for most of an NBA game.

After doing more research, still torn and lean more towards Green but Mobley seems to have a higher ceiling.

Wood/Mobley front court would be fun to see develop. So would a back court of Green/KPJ.

I still feel the Rockets FO getting Mobley would fit the "tradition " of big men in Houston

I'd like to see what Hakeem can do with Mobley and his quick feet and movement.

Listened to the Locked on Rockets pod. He did mention his great passing (for a big man) but didn't address the other questions. Sounds like on offense he's more of a slashing wing than anything else, so not an isolation scorer or shooter. Mentioned that Mobley is good at dribble hand-offs, which is nice, but eh. Eh.

Mobley will excel/grow/go as far as how the team that drafts him develops him. He's not a finished product but that's one of the things that make him intriguing. He's not a raw prospect and has basic fundamentals down on both ends of the floor. He has enough athleticism and versatility to learn and master a lot of skills.

At this point, I'd be happy with either.

And if by some miracle Houston stacks another pick or two to trade for the #1 to pick Cade, that would be cool too (if they don't give away too much)

He also obviously fits with Porter or any other PnR savvy guard as well.

Also put to rest all the concerns about Mobley's high center of gravity hindering his defense.

If the Cavs pass on Mobley or Green (whoever is left) That player is going to shine in Toronto. Maybe to the point where everyone else will regret taking whoever they take. Those guys should be begging Cleveland to pass.

I'm for drafting Mobley at #2 and picking Sharif Cooper at 23/24 if available, as a backup PG/playmaker.

    And vice versa.

Mobley to KPjr for the flush would be sweet as well.

Mobley's ability to find cutters and/or rollers in crowded paint is so underrated.

He'll definitely have a few options - I would love to see a KMJ flying in for a dunk off a Mobley lob.

    #OPTIONALITY

That is a word Stone and Silas have repeated often about players they want.
