at this point the track record really doesn't matter though. The last 2 years is showing a pretty significant drop off and the injuries continue to pile. Especially the non contact ones. EG really isn't of any use for the Rockets with the stage they're in and going forward
I agree, but the same can be said about Wiggins. Not to mention, giving up way too much in that trade to get a turd like Wiggins back.
Is there some trade for Wiggins that I'm missing? I was just strictly comparing the two between him and EG. We can say some differences regarding wiggins. He's younger, shorter deal, and becomes a fat expiring after the upcoming season
It was in response to the trade proposal that I responded to. Shorter by one year but higher AV, and only one year of halfway decent play.
KPj claims himself as the point guard. Cade is a point forward. I see a clash with that pair. Give him back to Cleveland for Mobley lol.
Oh I didn't see a trade proposal. That one year can be a significant difference especially when you typically want a big expiring at disposal. of course none of that would matter if that just goes to waste without actually using it
So KPJr won’t be able to coexist with anyone who likes to have the ball in their hands? Why can’t Cade just be a wing playmaker that gets 5-6 apg while KPJr runs point? We’re still doing the “there’s only 1 ball” thing?
I agree completely, you can slot in Cade at the 2 or 3 easily and having 2 guys who can both run the offense is a good thing, it means teams can't just double the one playmaker.
Two ball-dominant players works just fine. More then enough basketball to go around. It’s when you have 3 that one of them has to take a back seat.
If we wind up with Cade Cunningham (this year we can finally be excited for the draft, no matter what happens!), what will KPJ and Green do? They've already got a Francis-Cuttino thing going. But not on the same team. Maybe a final goodbye, like one "Illinois Nazi" to another? "I'll always love you."
KPJ is going to demand a trade like Harden. Cade gets angry and bolts for Arlington to play with Luka.
Do those NBA orientations to incoming players not do the trick? "Okay, stay awake for this lecture. THIS---" (brandishes a Magnum in its wrapper) "---is a rubber. Use it. And this---" (brandishes a normal size condom in its wrapper) "---is for our European players. Believe me, if she gets in your bed, she will get in your head."
Clearly those fans did not watch the Rockets pre-CP3 years, post Parsons years. I know Parsons wasn't a great ball handler, but he definitely allowed Harden a bit of rest the year they played together. More ball handlers is better than no ball handlers. By the way, I saw that tweet from DonKnock regarding Stone and getting what is leaked. Don't cream yourself lol.
