I do wish that people would be specific. Dan Patrick PUGH is currently a Talking Sports Celebrity working for a Propaganda outfit. He should not be confused with Dan Patrick, who formerly did sports reporting at a Houston TV station and now serves as Lieutenant Governor for the State of Texas.

One is a well known LIAR and the other is a politician.

Popping by to say the Yankees and their fan base are trash. I hope the Astros get to slay these losers in the postseason again, but that's in doubt: the Yankees are a couple games back from the bottom wild card.

Lousy series, but in line with expectations. Who have the Astros struggled with this year? Let's see: the Tigers, the Orioles... Yeah, the Yankees fit the mold.

Enjoy gloating over two pre-ASB games, losers.

The Grave is just the beginning of the Problems for the Evil Ones. I'm sure we disagree on which politicians should be most scared to face a righteous judge.

I noticed there is no corresponding move for optioning Garza to the Skeeters. Carlos might be cleared to return before Friday and Urquidy may return before the end of the Cleveland series. The back end of the rotation seems to be unsettled just yet. Greinke, Javier and Urquidy are battling for one or two positions, depending on whether they continue with a six man rotation. Greinke is pretty much of a lock, but whether he pitches immediately after Garcia or they add a pitcher between him and Greinke appears uncertain.

We've done well with out injury situation because of unexpected depth which has derailed other teams which have sustained similar injuries and losses. But we're not far from thriving if we get a higher availability of players off IR.

It's because the Lt. Governor isn't really conservative.... he isn't anything but a snake oil salesman that panders to conservatives that he thinks are too stupid or gullible to figure out that he is full of ****. He is a lot like Jesse Jackson.... they don't believe in anything but themselves.

Greinke is not battling for anything. He is the pitcher least likely to leave the rotation barring injury.

Greinke and Odorizzi are the only arms in the rotation without innings concerns. We're going to need every inning they can provide, because they're going to need to baby the arms of almost everyone else to make sure they're still available in the postseason. What looks like a surplus can quickly become a shortage.

And on July 7th, Urquidy said he was still a couple of weeks a way from resuming throwing.

To some extent, this is always true. But pitchers with a history of giving you innings sometimes don't like Verlander. Some of the guys will handle the additional workload and some won't.

The best you can do it work off probabilities based on the past with young pitchers in similar situations.

Why don't pitchers who have a history of pitching a lot of innings like Verlander?
