With the move to purge Liz Cheney it's looking like the GOP might run 2022 as a referendum on Trump, rather than Biden. I think for Democrats that will be a good thing especially if much of GOP rhetoric is about how the last election was stolen from them.
this man has zero chance in today’s Republican Party. Too much intellect. Too much honesty. Too diverse. Too willing to be critical of insurrection. Zero chance.
Geebus. i can’t read. Or actually I didn’t take the time to read the 14 or words preceding the video. My hilariously bad bad.
New Census Dataset Is Mostly Good News for Democrats https://cookpolitical.com/analysis/house/redistricting/new-census-dataset-mostly-good-news-democrats
Not sure why you would think that. Even with the Trump thing in 2020, the Dems lost seats. Now imagine that minus the Trump haters staying home (or even crossing over). The best shot y'all had was Biden having a good first 2 years and depressing GOP turnout. He blew that with Covid response, botched Afghanistan pullout and inflation spikes.
Except that election was Trump as the incumbent and before Jan. 6. Remember on Election Day 2020 Perdue had more votes in than Ossoff and even many Republicans believe disgust with the post election Trump that helped the Democrats win both GA seats. Republicans should be running in things like what happened in Afghanistan and inflation. If they choose instead to run on that 2020 was stolen it’s likely to energize Dems as much as their base and will turn off independents.
LOL. The LAST thing republicans will run on is "stolen elections". It's virtually guaranteed to depress conservative turnout if they do. Who wants to vote if the election was and is likely to be "rigged"?
Yep. I wish it weren't the case but he sounds too smart to be governor. Even Rhodes scholar Clinton had to dumb it down to get elected.
Trump has proven so far, that he is still playing kingmaker and still holding rallies. I think you aren't reading the room with this one.
