If it's going to be Green, then obviously Stone has a surfeit of wings (spicy garlic, + a Dos Equis on tap with limes, yum yum?) for trades.
I love Green and am fully on the bandwagon. I still think the talent discrepancy between him and Mobley is super thin. IF we manage to get a young guard (Dejounte, Derrick White, Beasley.. Herro *sick* ) then i think Mobley is the way to go.
Obviously an article interviewing a biased former coach. One of the things i hadn't seen before... they mentioned he has a 7'0 wingspan twice. If he's really 6'6, thats still a +6 which is really good. If he's more 6'4, that's a +8 which is crazy good. Maybe they're exaggerating his wingspan, too? Anyway another nice article... we are definitely at a point where scouts/analysts are segregating his defense and passing into two camps - (a) needs massive work, (b) needs work, but he's got a solid grasp of it and has improved and has potential to be really good at both, in addition to his scoring. I probably fall somewhere in the middle. My personal eye test actually says he's better than the naysayers that say he's one dimensional. I watch the games and see some really good passing, and some solid perimeter defense and effort. But I also recognize the passing isn't like Ja Morant level instictual, its worse with his left hand/going left, and he doesn't have that weak side, cross court, skip a guy or two pass down yet that is so important in the NBA. Meanwhile, defensively, he still sometimes gets a little lost/confused in team schemes, and has some mental lapse moments. But I definitely see on both he improved throughout the year for sure.
I think the total is now up to 4 different times they've been on one another's social media recently.
A total of four is now "WAY beyond a hand sign" and being "all over each other's social media?" Seems like Ja Morant comments just as much on both of their socials.
Your basketball i.q. is low if you don't understand how a bigger body playing next to a toothpick player helps. You are wasting my time with your silliness. If toothpick center in the NBA could do the job by themselves, then Nerlens Noel, Claxton, Thon Maker would be starting.
I pulled one of those off at the park once while splitting a couple of defenders But I blew the layup FML
With his speed and explosiveness, he may not need to be that great of a dribbler. Westbrook can’t really dribble in my opinion and he used to get to the basket at will. When Green gets stronger look out. He looks like a different type of athlete.
I was being facetious.....I've seen enough of his games to be comfortable with Jalen Green. Despite what jiggy says, I recognize his flaws but feel that in the NBA where there are greater 3-pt shooters, will create more open lanes for Jalen to carve up the defense. Be a greater facilitator/shot creator than in the G-league.
No I knew you were. I was just saying for the naysayers concerned about his handle that I don’t think he needs to be Chris Paul or Kyrie with the ball because of his raw explosion. Westbrook being a prime example of not needing to be an elite ball handler when you’re just a freak athlete. Even saying that, I think Green has shown more shiftiness and change of pace and direction than Russ. Green just does things that make me rewind videos to watch again.
