I want the remote radio call where John Sterling isn't sure if he's watching a replay of a previous AB or not...

To think there were many of us who thought Altuve was going to hold the spot only until the phenomenal young top draft pick, Delino DeShields would be ready.

Altuve held the spot alright, and holds it still!!!

Altuve is special type of talent…

There will not be any consideration of any Astro while they are an Astro for the foreseeable future. It's us against the MLB. And that's OK!

He can be mentioned, but right now it should be Shohei Ohtani and it's not even close. 33 HR 1.062 OPS and 3.49 ERA.

It was good to see Bregman in the dugout and able to share in the celebration right after McCullers. I wasn't sure where he was rehabbing and whether players on the IL were permitted with the team.

I honestly could not argue with his selection. What he is doing is legendary. But like Bo Jackson, sometimes legends leave the stage too soon (hip Injury.)

I just want to be his nemesis and hit him when he pitches and leave him frustrated at the plate.

    Holy
    Crap

We lost the series, but its like we won the series. Making the Jankees stew on that for a week is sublime. Stros saying "F you" to the ASG is orgasmic. When are people going to understand that the Astros invented the Baseball Bro Petty Award? You will not win Aaron Judge. LOL

"hurrr hurrrr where was his tattoo" LMAOOOOO

Boys need a break - what a way to cap the first half. I'll take it.

I honestly can’t believe I stayed the whole time. I was so frustrated watching us give up walk after walk all game long.

We went to line up for my niece and nephew to run the bases afterwards and I started watching the ninth from the concourse. When we came to bat I realized, so many empty seats in the lower section and nobody checking tickets anymore… so I snagged a seat near the dugout and had a perfect view for the finish. Easily worth every frustrating inning before it! I told my girlfriend when Castro pinch hit that this is setting up for an Altuve walkoff. Poetic finish- I was wearing my Altuve jersey and everything.

We won the war in a battle. The big picture, the Astros still leading with 3.5 and the Yanks are stuck in 4th place. It is going to be havoc for the Yankees in their division, they face Red Sox with Cora and then the Blue Jays with G.Springer. We don't play these knuckleheads anymore this season until the postseason if they get there :)

So I've thought about it and slept on it.

That HR yesterday was a big F U to all the sleezy sports writers, youtube channels and social media.

It almost feels like a complete closure on things (another WS would surely do it)

I hope Altuve's pops is ok

In most MLB games, most fans would of left. It was a torturing game, a torturing series. At least you get a non-ripped Tuve jersey.

Unfortunately, the **** will never end.

I just like the fact that from yesterday, against the ****ing Yankees, Altuve/Maldy and the 'Stros just gave a big **** YOU to the MLB.

Outside of COVID reasons they can be with the team. LMJ was regularly in the the dugout during his 2019 TJ recovery season (at least for home games). Meanwhile Verlander is the highest paid player on the team and he recently posted family vacation pictures. As much as he's being paid, I think he should be in the dugout supporting his teammates and be a veteran presence for the pitching staff.
