What are the odds that the Pistons take Green over Cunningham?

 

Taking Green because some of his skills “immediately translate” isn’t persuasive to me. He needs to be more than just a scorer.

I think you can only take Green at 2 if you also think he will improve in the other aspects of his game, namely defense, passing, play-making, et al. Maybe he is that guy. I hear some Kobe comparisons, but you need more than an athletic scoring SG to win it all, and if he *just* scores then I think they’re may be better options in this deep draft.

 

This is good clickbait, but if Detroit wants Green, they'll swap with Houston (if we want Cunningham).

 

OKC trading up to get Cade makes a ton of sense. They are sitting on an absolute Everest of picks. Most of those they won't even be able to use because of roster size concerns.

And for Detroit, they have so many holes to fill they probably wouldn't mind tanking next year for Banchero/Holmgren.

 

This is easy. If they don't trade, they are guaranteed a superstar.
