If Yordan didn't hit 2 bombs in the 1st A's game, or Tuve and Tucker hit those bombs in the 2nd A's game, we should of been in a 5 game losing streak. I think most of the team are already on All-Star break. Tomorrow the game for the Astros is likely a running on adrenalin game. This 3rd game is going to be a blowout one way, or the other.
I think baseball might be too difficult for you to understand. Stick to other sports where the better team nearly always wins. That is not baseball.

One last thing about Judge saying it's because of the "Chilly ballpark." I mean seriously....if you're going to troll, just admit to it? You aren't fooling anyone, and you look like a guy trying to do something funny but scared to out right admit it. It's not cute, it'd be a lot funnier if he just said "I got new tattoos and my wife/girlfriend didn't want everyone to see it. Can't stand people that try to be funny but are scared to completely go all in on the joke.
This is a sign of things to come for the Astros. Whenever a team is highly motivated and takes the game to the Astros, they fold. Dodgers will sweep them in August. if we were in the World Series against them, we’d get embarrassed because we aren’t ready for the intensity. Astros are just a front running team. Aaron Judge showboating on the base paths scared the Astros to death. They retreated when they were called out. It’s clear that the blueprint to beat the Astros is to showboat and bring up the cheating scandal again. It gets in our guys heads.

Astros are in a hitting slump right now and without Bergman and Correa it looks even worse. What looked solid was our pitching. Our bats will be there but you can tell the hitters are all looking forward to the break.
Even though it’s the Yankees, and against their mediocre hitters, I was impressed with the pitching. That was a bright spot. And maybe that hit off Gerrit in the ninth will be the end of Altuve’s slump.
On another forum loaded with Yankees fan, they didn't talk about Judge's shirt, but they were all over G.Cole's gonad. It is like he changed the Yankees season with that game- lol. They are going to blame the All-Star game for interrupting the momentum when they go back to their losing ways for 2021.
Cole manned up. Awesome performance. Capacity crowd booed him hard at start of the game. Boos rained down on him. He grabs the ball and shoves a 130 pitch shutout up our asses. Sucked losing like that but sometimes all you can do is tip your cap.
This 1000x. Cole was dealing. It happens. Drives me crazy when a small sample of 162 games is looked at as "our season is over" or conversely, "no one is stopping this team". Baseball just ain't like that.
