Yankees catching us at perfect time.
Altuve is in a slump. Last 15 games hitting .193
    Last 7 games:
    Brantley hitting .207
    Yuli hitting .179
Correa was hitting .154 before going on IL
    Toro is .174

Cole might have a great game just throwing it over the plate with the way we have been hitting.

This is why you man up. And just knock out a Yankee fan..... not for no absolutely no reason. But you wait until this opportunity presents itself. Thats the entertainment.

I hope we crush him, going to the game tonight. Astros batters need to wake up.
Need to put on a good showing on national tv.

Went to the last two games with my parents and it was tough, especially since we only go to a couple of games a year and obviously haven't been since 2019. It wasn't so much that we lost two in a row. I've been watching baseball since I was a kid in the 80s. Teams lose two in a row all the time. It's just that there wasn't too much to cheer for. For the most part, our pitchers performed well (I figured Odorizzi was going to run into some troubles after all the men on base early). But from an offensive standpoint, it would have been nice to see Alvarez run into one, or to see a little more traffic on the bases.

With that said, we stayed for the fireworks, so that was the first time I saw the roof retracted in person and the fireworks were pretty cool. Hope the Astros can pull off a couple wins going into the All-Star break, get some rest and then tear through the second half.
