Agree 100% on the specs of the DeLorean but its the nostalgia of the car and collectability of the car that draws me to them. This car is so 80s, and prices for them have been surging recently. Actually, all 80s car prices have been ridiculous lately. 1st generation BMW M3s have been selling for $100k
Definitely agree with you, the nostalgia is definitely a great point too. Man, on the M3s it's pretty wild watching the price climb.
I would also like the “Under Cover Brother” convertible Cadillac DeVille! The suspension on that car is… Spoiler ……. ……. …….
...the new DMC-12s won't be exactly identical. According to the publication, the cars will get a 350-horsepower engine, an upgraded interior with cooled and heated seats, as well as a modern audio system with various connectivity options. New headlights are expected to help the cars conform with modern safety standards, and there will likely be wheel and brake upgrades to handle the massive power bump over the original DMC-12. The report didn't specify the source of the engine, as it's still to be confirmed by the manufacturer of the new DMC cars, which is based in [Humble] Texas. https://www.thedrive.com/news/31926/theres-a-new-delorean-dmc-12-on-the-way-sort-of
1. Mach 5 (SR) or Ferrari 308 GTS 3. Smokey & Bandit or Knight Rider (Firebird Trans Am) 5. GMC Vendura (The A-Team), but it has to be customized like the show.
I’m not ashamed of my lone vote for the Mad Max car. Mach 5 would be very tempting but probably really hard to maintain, ordering all those specialty parts.
I was wondering why there was no love for the Starsky & Hutch car. That frame is probably all shot to bell! ……. ……. …….
