yep 1. CP3/Booker complement each other better 2. cp3 2021 is healthier 3. Booker>Harden, while in vacuum harden is a lot more talented player to me, booker is more flexible and coachable than harden and thus harder to scheme for or stop...., he is harder to double team since plays off ball better, is faster so again can beat double teams easier than harden by running around after or even before giving up the ball, and he has a killer midrange so you simply cant run him off of 3pt line and pack the paint and thus he isnt susceptible to cold 3pt streches 4 . coaching - MDA does'nt beleive in timeouts, runs short rotations and everybody is unplayable to him... nene goes down in spurs series and everything falls apart, 1,2,3,4 players go down for monty this team still plays well 5. overall talent - mayority of suns roster can dribble and are multiple threats, can layup, midrange, and 3, can pass, can attack the closeouts, unlike the rockets 2018 squad most of them lacked midrange and were not a threat to attack closeouts
Why is it better? CP3 is at his best when he has the ball, and Booker is a great off-ball mid-range player. Together, they allow for the Suns to get significantly better scoring opportunities. It's a much better offense than "your turn, my turn" iso-ball. Sometimes, chemistry trumps talent. Isn't that why the Pistons beat the Lakers in 2004?
It helps that the Suns doesn’t have to play the Warriors in their primes. They’d be lucky to get a game.
nah kawhi (and tony parker ) didnt play in 2017 and harden couldnt capitalize replace booker with harden i dont think they even beat the lakers in the first round... you need midrange to suceed
cp3 was the mvp of the 2018 gsw series... let that sink in.. give him a better supporting cats , like this years one and they beat them
This is the key to me. This Suns team reminds me of the first Warriors title team, where no one expected them to be that good but they won with ball movement and incredible teamwork. Role players look a lot more talented when they are put in positions to succeed, and the Suns offense guided by CP3 does that. The Rockets role players never looked good because the offense just made them stand at the 3 point line and shoot, which doesn't let anyone maximize their skills or get involved in the game.
Someone probably can pull out some stats to verify my eye test. Harden does seem to drive less in the last 2 years or so. It could be a combination of several factors. 1. He has lost some speed due to age? 2. The step back takes less energy and pounding? 3. Refs stop calling his foul-baiting craft? 4. Teams have decided that crowding the lane to prevent his drive rather than challenging his step back 3 is a better strategy to contain his offense?
James problem is 80% mental, its just not normal to have repeated performances in the big light like that, likely he has some severe anxiety or something..dude just shuts off. But with respect to your point he has lost a good deal of lateral agility. I know "HaRdEn FaT" is a meme but he has legit not been in top shape that past 2-3 seasons and you can tell. See this:
Bucks should have sat Giannis out in game one. I think they would play better without him. Too late to try it out now.
I have proven you wrong over and over and over again. There is nothing else left to say about the original point.
Nah btw boy did the entire gym this morning during our Saturday sessions at west Houston indoor have a laugh when I said I’m strictly here to train my acl. LMFAO #whotftoldyouthat
You're stupidity knows no bounds. I can come at you with peer-reviewed, respected, scientific literature all day. You come at me with cronies from the gym. That's cute. https://www.jospt.org/doi/pdf/10.2519/jospt.2001.31.11.655 "Many authors have demonstrated the existence of mechanoreceptors and free nerve endings in several parts of the knee joint. These receptors provide the basis for the proprioceptive feedback system that would allow adaptive changes to occur during preventive training programs, thus helping in the prevention of knee injuries during sports. For a proprioceptive training program to function, the premise is that adaptations will take place based on the stimuli the proprioceptors receive during or prior to initiation of the deleterious movement. This information will alter the possibly programmed response in a manner that modifies the mechanical conditions acting on the ACL. For this to occur, the injury mechanism, or pattern of movement, must be recognized by the sensory control system as deleterious. A corrective response must then be initiated to modify the movement of the involved limbs in a way that reduces or alters the stresses applied to the ACL by applying a different movement strategy. This implies an altered neuromuscular response, as the only way to alter a movement pattern is to modify the internal forces applied to the system, that is, by changing muscle activation patterns" I have proven you wrong over and over and over again. There is nothing else left to say about the original point.
HahahhhahahhH a random internet loser who doesn’t have an athletic bone in his body and is probably fat af
