There isn't no vitrol, its like tinman, its just amuseument but it all kinds of maybe add personality so its not that big of a deal. I don't get it or wouldn't spend my time looking and responding on that with nothing to say, but yea i don't mind if you're that guy. Good comabck," how about you don't be that guy" reminds me of marco rubio with chris christe, just robot and on repeat. I say this bc generally on the boards Im seeing theres consistency sort of how tinman makes every thread to deflect on tilman into Les no matter what that generally you have a thing where its sort of responding without saying anything, be it this is off topic, the styling of writing, punctuation, or whatever else...but don't worry bro, thats still contributing something i guess. good job bro
Tilman is getting money now Pandemic is almost over and fat people are eating I care more about the team and draft but you can care about the owner At least he gave us our classic colors back unlike China Les
Well on that part, I get it. It was definitely long and unedited, but i come here and let my thoughts out and no I'm not going to treat it too much like I'm back in school. As in I'm fine with you and whoever else passing it over rather than reading it, I'll find a way to live with it if jiggyfly and a few others don't read my post. It would defintiely be helpful and better recieved had i did edit it and I went to school and got the same advice, if you have time, cut cut cut on any of my thesis or essays. They had a little more pull than a random CF, but here im just here for ***** giggles and unfortunately with the current state of rockets a little outrage until Jun 29th
I think he is. But also hes the most overleveraged owner in the entire nba. But if the cash flow works, which is what hes brilliant at as a financier, then we should be ok. I'm good with that, and heck I give a rats ass about tilmans business but hopefully it does good so it doesnt affect the rockets as it did Doesnt seem like you care abotu the rockets more than the owner. If you were invested in anything and the guy stewarding it lies to your face multiple times, cheaps out on the product, makes it a lauhging stock at the gutter of the league...and you're worried about red jreseys from a decade ago? Maybe its the title to get proirities right. Les is gone, ain't coming back..good riddance, you have a dude pissing on your beloved Rockets now and rebranding it a Landry's entitity, but you're worried abotu the guy whose long gone and you don't have to worry about while the new guy has made the rockets to anyone around the league synonymous with a cheap brand to now we are probably the least attractive destination in TExas...that wasn't hte case with Les, the results are here...and you may need to check your glasses if you can't see it. I'm tellin ya, 99ers is cool...but don't be a charles barkey scottie pippen 99er, be a hakeem, carol dawson 99er- thats the difference, Rockets above All, Les...and yes, Tilman too. You just gotta get that 2nd part down
is he a CF guy? had no idea, but the more you learn abotu tilman this isn't some freak issue that happened during the pandemic. hell half the cheaping out moves were before the pandemic, @tinman, so if hes making money now, he was then too and it didn't fare well for rockets...unless you're one of those still waiting for repeaters tax and for lebon/jimmy buttler to walk into the door and say i want to play for Fertitta. But yea, contractors in his buildings, tigers, he has a reputation for handling this as he handled almost all his business formulas...and its brilliant..for him, he and his family win out, the city of houston now gets stuck...we also funded the TC which he fully profits from too, still can't throw rockets a bone
Tilman Fertitta invests in gig worker employment platform If only our franchise record holding most winningest team was worth an investment from fern t***
Trevor ariza was overrated any ways Can’t hit a damn three pointer in game 7 good riddance I want Robert Horrys
We all do, can you imagine, theres a lot of ways to win. And basketball isn't elementary math unless you're Steven A smith on the jump. Deflections, stops, the right pass, hockey assists, spacing, veteran leadership, locker room culture...a lot of ways to contribute to the W that casuals can't seem to understand Futhermore, thats fine you want Ariza out...who are you replacing him with? Oh rights, Ennis, House..CArmelo? Ok and then cut or trade all 3 mid seasons? I think you're missing the point on how team building and that all of those 3 replacements were either cut short or thrown away for savings that just went to one man, no one else...sadly as much a you jump loopholes and bend over for tilman. IF you actally contribute to Rockets as in buy tickets merchandise..he's laughing on his way to bank as you say his talking points that have been proved wrong or just have faulty logic time and time again. The puppets can't even tell they are being puppets and thats the saddest thing of it all abotu the sheep
CP3 looked done to people that don’t understand that leadership, ball handling/passing, floor-generaling, Bball IQ and locker room presence (why we got him) don’t decline with age like athleticism. If you’ll notice in the threads it was pointed out pretty clearly. It’s a cop out to say “wHo kNeW it wOUlD bE tHIs WaY” and blame hating lmao. Sit down.
It’s crazy because Trevor was hardens closest bud on the team at one point. You could tell he was starting to get pizsed doe and didn’t hold back
Why was this thread reborn? Was it Ariza->Oubre->CP3 or Ariza->Oubre->2 FRPs? I'll check later, but yes, Tilman's frugalness has lead to selling picks for money and not signing players (for purely tax purposes) that could have turned into more picks. I think every move could be measured in the value of draft picks, but who needs FRPs when you could save money instead?
Well first of all you are talking about the WB trade right? So what does Ariza, Bzedelik and James Ennis have anything to do with that? You just built an entire strawman argument where somehow Harden is the master mind behind every move the Rox made. Can your brain handle only 1 guy to blame for everything? It's either Tillman or Harden, the other dude has no blame is that it?
Insert eye roll emoji… you think leadership and iq makes up the difference for a pg taking 40 mil from the payroll on a team trying to contend… uh, no…
If you wanna measure everything in the value of draft picks, Rox traded for Cp3 using Sweet Lou, Beverly, Harrell and 2 FRP 1 year before Cp3 was to become a Free agent. How many picks are those worth? Morey is a smart dude if there wasnt pressure from Harden and Cp3 (who basically admitted they colluded) would he do that just to get Cp3 1 yr early? When Harden said he knows what he needed to do, he pushed for Cp3 trade to OKC for WB, that cost us 3 FRP and 3 swaps. Sure Tillman made that deal go thru but you know it was at the insistance of Harden. Lets not act like Harden didnt know what was going on wtf. Then Harden demanded out and wanted a trade. When he didnt get traded immediately he started destroying his market value he skipped camp, came into season out of shape and started gorging on water so he will look bloated AF during games. He also started crap with teammates and threw a bball to Tate just to cause drama. He quit during games and then threw the team under the bus publicly during an interview. If you are counting picks lost how much damage did those do towards lowring his trade value? There's such a thing as Paretto principle everyone here is focusing on the nickle and dime moves, thise are like 2-3 FRPs at most combined. The big ticket items are the ones that Harden cost us and those are the ones that did the most damage to this franchise. You said you will look it up so then look it up and then let's see how much Tillman's skinflint ways really cost the team.
