Somebody hasn't been paying attention with that draft. Sengun will not make it to 23. He might not make it out of the lottery.

This kid has as much body control and athleticism as any prospect I've ever seen. His advanced offensive moves look polished already, like the Harden stepback three. He's also good off ball. He's going to be a beast in the league.

So why is everybody questioning his handles?

I concur. His offensive bag is already crazy deep for someone so young. This guy is so much more than a world class athlete. I feel many players are content on simply making it to the League whereas others seek to leave their mark and cement their legacy. You hear Green speak and he talks of being one of the goats and mentions how the real work is only just beginning. Don't be fooled by the highlight reel dunks. Hard work is what got Jalen Green to this point and it's that same dedication and drive that's only going to propel him further still. The stars stay working on their games and are widely known to live in the gym. KD despite all his talent and gifts is a prime example of this. I don't see Green taking the easy route. If anything I envision this kid seeking out the greats that came before him similarly to how Tatum and Kyrie sought out Kobe, and we know he already has Ja Morant in his corner. Then there's guys like Ben Simmons who are going to end up squandering their talents due to refusing to put that work in.

Anyone questioning Green's handles needs to get their eyes checked and/or check for brain injury. He comfortably uses every dribble move in the book while not pounding the hell out of the rock. His TO% is not even bad. This would be like watching KPJ play and asking if he has handles.

Lol why do you think we have to play John Wall? He serves no purpose. Let him sit on the bench until he takes a buyout.

It's only mentioned in every scouting report as a weakness.

But hey you know better than everybody else.

So if he is more Lou Williams than Kobe and Wade are we happy?

I had the chance to see Greens workout, I was very impressed, even though 19 years of age
he looks like he will be a star player, If we select Green we might add height in picks 23 and 24. Y

It's only the "Mobley Misfits" doing it.

And you call yourself a coach.

It's talked about in every scouting profile and video.

I have never seen a prospect get this kind of unconditional love.

And he is not even a consensus #1.

    It's quite frankly baffling.

What about that video was different than any other guys workout video?

He's not #1 because he didn't go to college. Not as much game tape for someone to look at. But, if you noticed, since the lottery everyone is starting to come around to the truth. Jalen Green hasn't played one NBA game and has already signed a shoe deal and made history with the GLeague and the NCAA. Plus he's called "Idol" in the Philippines.
Mobley will be a good player. Just not as good as Green and Cade.

Why should Green's nickname in the Philippines mean jack squat to us????

And why does it keep coming up to explain why his greatness is guaranteed?

Not sure if anyone realizes that that country loves their nick names, it doesnt mean anything.

Obviously propaganda by a known Green Gang advocate.

Duckett has never been a great writer but this "article" was absolute trash and exactly the kind of crap I've been lamenting since this debate started.

Green Gang cannot stop resorting to personal attacks and subjective illogical projections.

Mobley IMPROVED ALL HIS STATS from JR to SR year in HS but he did not improve ENOUGH so Duckett conjured this into a negative.

The part about needing his brother to perform which is a complete fabrication considering Mobley actually IMPROVED - Duckett pulled this out from Trump playbook, speaking a falsehood into existence.

This article is littered with similar garbage throughout.

Duckett even links this article from Ben Pfeifer as support of why Mobley's lack of motor or growth in SR year of HS is reason for not drafting him.

But Pfeifer actually comes to opposite conclusion - Pfeifer examines those reasons and concludes that Mobley is a genius on the court.

It was a BLATANT hit piece plain and simple.
