Shams - Philly offered Simmons/Thybulle + draft compensation. Did we make the right deal?

While I agree with the idea of this .... I can't see Wall getting that kinda deal as a free agent. Particularly the number of years.

 

Feel like Butler wasn't his fault. Thibs never wanted to trade Butler

 

I know I'm being hard on him, but it's just frustration from a fan that just never saw the stars aligned for us. I know that's not Morey's fault, but I think @DreamShook knows what I'm talking about.

I feel that sometimes he got way too cute with deals.

Hell, even the time we were suppose to trade for Jamychal Green/Garrett Temple. I believe @Nook stated that Tilman wanted to play around with timing, which is why this fell through, but that was a pretty important trade Morey missed out on at the time.

I guess we were always so damn close. We all know how every advantage counted when the freaking Warriors, one the GOAT teams, was in our way every year.

 

unfortunately no…maybe if they strike out in free agency, are extremely desperate, and we give them HEAVY compensation

 

That trade was done and tied up in a bow.

It was TF that backed out, not Morey.

 

Simmons main problem is that his brother is his shooting coach.

He needs a pro.

Let his brother "help" somewhere else.

 

If Nets break up the BEST team in the NBA then they are TF levels of stupid.

Green and temple fell through because tilman took his sweet time deciding whether or not to take on salary and have LTS be at risk. It wasn’t because of morey. And that 2019 team absolutely needed both of those guys as rotational players

 

Worse, it would be James Harden levels of stupid because Harden has already done that once.

Will Harden destroy a second franchise so soon? It's certainly in his nature, so we'll see.
