Giannis pushes defenders out of the way every drive, and media silent

Honestly it was never foul in the NBA they are fighting for position, he dont just balantly push guys then run. Hes just that strong that in contact he makes it look like foul. He waits for correct even position and then used strenght its not anything different than James Harden does when he is in a move and they fight for lead with defender - James uses his elbow right to the chest then. Either James or Giannis moves are legal

 

Giannis just runs into dudes…there’s not a coach or trainer alive showing tape of Giannis to the kids so that they can copy or master his “moves”

opposing teams should flop upon making contact with him. do it profusely like neymar/sterling. eventually people will take notice.

but by that time yannis would have already developed a killer 3. he'd be unstoppable, can't even be contained. teams will simply take a knee.

I don't have any particular thoughts about how Giannis is officiated, but it's hard to describe the rage I've felt during the playoffs every time I've seen the refs review the video to decide if they are going to upgrade a foul for undercutting the shooter on a 3 point shot and remember how they swallowed their whistles during the Rockets/Warriors series. I'm getting pissed just typing this.

 

Players are allowed to get away with more contact around the basket than on the perimeter, and Giannis is able to take advantage of that. If he's ramming into guys 20 feet from the basket and getting away with it, than that is a problem. Banging within 10 feet of the basket is less of a concern, because that's just the way the game is played and its why big, strong, physical guys have an advantage down there.

 

Giannis is definitely the most underwhelming 2-time MVP I can remember. Woulda/coulda/shoulda gone down in flames in the second round again this year, but we all remember what happened there.

... Although in all fairness to Giannis, he shouldn't be held to any kinda MVP standard as both of his belong to James Harden.

I don't dwell about our game anymore, but I definitely am irritated with the officiating and reviews. It slows the game down way too much. And they're upgrading fouls to flagrants that are very weak.

 

Giannis is using a Shaq move. Bump the defender under the rim and dunk.

 

It's not a foul if you keep your elbows within the frame of your shoulders. Too bad Giannis always does push off and it's never called.

It happened like ten times in that series. It maddening seeing that they call it flagrant fouls nowadays when they give us no calls at all.
