Some of these takes are insanely stupid.

22, 4, and 4 on 44/35/85 shooting splits and 55% TS…105 offensive rating…VORP of 1, and bad defense…years 2-4 were significantly better than his rookie year when it comes to scoring

I brought up Beal since he’s 1 of Green’s most widely used comps along with Lavine…Lavine is another guy who was pedestrian and was basically a meh scorer on mostly subpar efficiency who did little else until his 5th year

Teams including Cleveland, Houston, New Orleans and Oklahoma City are among those making overtures to evaluate what it would take to move up to the No. 1 slot, sources say, but those talks are at an early stage, and any trade is unlikely to be consummated until much closer to the draft, if at all. From all accounts, Detroit is comfortable standing pat at No. 1 and taking Cunningham but will be active in exploring the possibility of trading down and obtaining additional assets, with Mobley a potential target if something gets done.

That's what NBA teams tell me they are hearing coming out of Detroit's front office. But would the Pistons really pass on Cunningham if the draft were tonight? I still think the answer is no. I would put Cunningham as the overwhelming favorite to end up in Detroit at that spot still, which, by the way, I've been told he would be very excited about. The recent buzz about other options can be chalked up to a second-year GM doing his homework and trying to make sure he leaves no stone unturned with what might end up being the most valuable pick he ever has in his career.

I honestly would rather take Green at 2 and keep whatever assets it takes to move up to 1, which is likely a lot.

For those who absolutely insist that Mobley cannot gain muscle weight (and you know who you are), just a reminder that when Giannis was drafted in 2013 he was only 190 lbs.

He has gained over 50 lbs since then.

And Mobley is much more skilled, defensively AND offensively, than Giannis was at same time in their careers. Much higher BBIQ as well.

Giannis is much more athletically gifted than Mobley

Read some of those draft profiles, Giannis was not considered as explosive as Mobley at same time in their careers.

I would also watch some old vids of Giannis as well.

Why are there no videos of Evan Mobley passing?

Got a Feigen Green mock, Feigen Green article, ESPN Green articles/videos, The Athletic Green articles/videos, LockedOnRockets Green breakdown,…

WHERE THE HELL IS THE EVAN MOBLEY CONTENT?!

Got more Jalen Green propaganda than Cade, Mobley, & Suggs combined.

Giannis doesn't have a high center gravity.... he has a prototypical frame for an oversized wing.

Green and his agent have been the hardest working people…at least when it comes to hit pieces about green.

He did but not when you're hanging on for dear life on his schwantz.

Tends to lower anyone's center of gravity.

Seriously, your attempts to hang on to the "high center of gravity" bit and ignore how fluid Mobley moves on defense (and offense) is getting pathetic.

That's hard to believe looking at the film people share. Mobley doesn't look fluid like Durant or Lebron does, he looks like a big man when he dribbles and moves. He may develop a solid outside shot and be a great finisher, but it's hard to see his offensive game ever going beyond a Chris Bosh.

But to say that Green doesn't have a chance to be a strong defender compared to that seem strange. If Green is has hard working and dedicated as they say, then why wouldn't he be a very good defensive player?
