Bro... this is what you said in a thread about draft prospects: Your comments suggest you have a very naive sense of the draft works.... but your actions of constantly debating me and other pro Green posters is telling. You say one thing and do the other..... and go as far as to claim "I have no reason to be pulling for one guy over the other" in spite of you playing the devils advocate in Mobley threads. If you just like arguing then so say, but don't sit there and be dishonest. Just sayin'
None of that makes sense. I have a naive sense of how the draft works? Yet somehow you think somebody can be a winner in all of this.
Why do you care if I have a firm opinion or not ( I do) I have stated my firm opinion several times, I think Mobleys skill set is harder to find than Greens so I think he is the best choice at 2. I'm sorry, do I need to **** on Green at every turn to show you my opinion? You are taking this far to seriously.
The guy who both argues pro Mobley but doesn't want to pick a prospect everyone..... Good luck with all that.
No clue what this means? So you're claiming the Hawks teams he was on, that made deep playoff runs, and had multiple all-stars, was not a good team? Ok, then... i will move along lol. Orange juice isn't orange! Rain doesn't fall from clouds! And a 60 win team with four all stars and a deep playoff run wasn't a good team with a great roster.
Did I say at any time they were not a good team. Only 1 of those guys made another all star team and none after that year. That team did not make a deep playoff run they lost in the 2nd round, try again.
It's a tough one. The fact that he is thin is a plus to me, if he was 250 lbs he'd be less value in the modern NBA where you need big man who can play the perimeter well. You need Durants, KGs, Jokics, Dirks over Duncans and Joels. Question is can Mobley be at that level. He seems to have the raw talent but talent is only one part of the equation. Green to me seems less likely to be a unicorn, but you have to love his drive. If they say his drive is half of that of a Kobe Bryant, he's still a sure thing to be a dominant force in the NBA. So to me, because of that drive, I'd pick Green over Mobley even though Mobley has probably the higher upside potential.
no clue what you’re saying. You didn’t use words. Only a random ice cube gif that made no sense. you seemed to be arguing the value of someone like Al Horford because in your view he elevated a team that otherwise didn’t have the roster to be that good. I’m arguing the roster was very good. Horford being part of that. But not like a tier above the other guys. Millsap was the better player for example the year they won 60 games. but maybe that wasn’t your point. :shrug also they lost in the ECF. Did you even watch them play? I suspect not.
weird thing is it doesn't really matter which one they get the big question is can they help right away and make a real difference
um they better not contribute right away, let us get a few years of good picks. What matters is who’s gonna be good 3 years from now
