I am now terrified of us going after players based on their nickname potential .

I apologize if this joke has already been made

I am not a fan of Tilman, but he does seem to put some importance on how the players and ex players are treated. We literally traded Oladipo, PJ, and James to specific teams they requested, with WB he just asked to be moved and we did that for him even with his unfavorable contract. People have talked about how many ex Rockets were on playoff teams, it appears that Tilman does value goodwill.

I think he had to learn. Lets not forget hte differences of JJ watt an Harden. Both were high level individaul performers, great memores ,and both did wonders in terms of investing and making houston home both business an philantrhopy. Both wanted out after seeing the franchise gong another direction than all out winning as they only have a few year of greatness left. Texans let Watt do his thing, thanked him, said he'd always be a texan at heart.

Rockets went and first 'leaked' a barrage of info on harden from insiders in the officec, an office that was changing to now only tilman's people. Furthermore they went public saying they were willing to get 'uncomfortable'

Then worse off if you read rich paul taling about why anthony davis had to leave, any player or agent saw the rockets cheaping out in 2018 and 2019....ethey all shook their heads after 2019 with tillman saying he needed to teach the rockets a killer culture, a chris paul led team, while he cheaped out and basically demanded a better result with a cheaper product than the year before.

The dude stll goes on tv and says morey went all in for harden...you can simply look at our transaction history to see 90 percent of the moves are cost cutting during out 'title window"

So basically we all hope he learned his lesson. This is a players league, they have more to do with generating revenue than ANY owner...the owners are fastly replaceable, they provide financing when needed, otherwise not needed. Les got that, stayed in the shadows and no one was a 'les fan'. In fact we may have the only owner who has plastered his photo all over the arena more prominent than the players, the only one outside of cuban who is so willing to be the face and goto the media, sadly also the most over leveraged owner and has been caught lying to fans multiple times. a 3 year tear down for the history books, or for 30 for 30 at least

I think Vernon Maxwell can help out Kevin Porter Jr and Jalen Green with advice about anything.

Matt Bullard can help out players also with shooting. Matt seems like a Coach.

No kidding. Chuck should be working as a coach, not in the FO.

Now, when are they going to hire Shane Battier to write speeches for the Fertittas?

Really cool for Bullard. The front office had some people leave; so was good to the positions refilled.

Rockets also got Chris Wallace as new scouting director.

    https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/ce...ex-celtics-gm-chris-wallace-scouting-director

"The Houston Rockets reportedly are hiring an executive whose name might be familiar to Boston Celtics fans.

Former Celtics general manager Chris Wallace is joining the Rockets as their director of scouting, ESPN's Tim MacMahon reported Tuesday.

Wallace served as Celtics GM from 1997 to 2007, with mixed results: He selected future Hall of Famer Paul Pierce with the 10th pick in the 1998 NBA Draft but traded top draft pick Joe Johnson to the Phoenix Suns in February 2002 for Tony Delk and Rodney Rogers. Johnson went on to become a seven-time All-Star, while Delk and Rogers played a combined three seasons for Boston.

Forsberg: The challenge C's face in adding a notable free agent
Wallace also famously traded Kenny Anderson, Vitaly Potapenko and Joseph Forte for big man Vin Baker in July 2002. Baker's play with the Celtics suffered as he battled alcoholism, and Boston released him after the 2003-04 season.

Wallace left the C's in 2007 to become Memphis Grizzlies general manager, paving the way for Danny Ainge to become the Celtics' full-time GM. Wallace was demoted from his GM role in 2019, but his experience could serve the Rockets well as they continue a rebuild under new general manager Rafael Stone."

Houston currently owns three first-round picks in the 2021 NBA Draft (including No. 2 overall), so Wallace might be put to work right away.

I can definitely see Stone used this with players and their agents.

Come play for Houston, give us a chance to help you win a championship. If things don't work out, don't worry, we will work with you to get you a team that you will win something with.

“We want guys who love to hoop. Not just playing in the games but every single day. Coming to practice, working on their skills. We want to find those type of players who love to get in the gym & work every single day to become a better basketball player.”

Love it, these are the players that last. Same with any sport honestly but for players to reach their full potential, they have to live and breath basketball so I am glad Bullard seems to be vetting draft prospects and their true love of the game.

Basically Jalen Green has been the pick.

Cade is too busy making babies and jacking off to himself.

Mobley aka Lil Nas X needs his dad for workouts.
