The Rockets get their center next draft. As Wall will get paid handsomely to deliver a top 4 pick again.
That's the rub for me. Holmgren, Wembanyama and Banchero are each going to require a top 3 pick. I think that is the class of big that Mobley is in. While I think Jaden Hardy is the only guy as good as Green, I feel like there are multiple wings available that are in his class that could be had if the Rockets don't end up with a top 3 selection. For the record, if they're reasonably healthy, I think it is likely the Rockets are closer to 10 than 2 in next year's draft. If that's the case I think they get a wing closer to Green than a big in Mobley's class.
Agreed, also like his skillset. But Banchero is legit top 3 in a very talented draft. There are absolutely no guarantees that Rockets will be picking this high, we got lucky this draft even with clear worst record. Bird in the hand ... Tomorrow is not promised.
You won't hear me saying bring them here with top 4 pick. I'm consistent. Chances of tanking for Poalo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, others is lame. Silas wants to win now or be blamed for losses like John Lucas with Cavs/76ers. Porter Jr / Mobley -- Jalen Green want to play all out.

Chet Holmgren looks like an amazing talent with a unicorn skillset, but he's listed as 7ft and 190 lbs. Damn. Kevin Martin had ten pounds on the guy when he played. Hopefully he adjusts his diet and tries to lift weights as he matures. Side note, a couple years ago he did this to Steph Curry at his SC Select Camp as a 17 year old high schooler and then blew up as a prospect.

Dwight Howard received a championship last season not as a unicorn but as a flawed big man that doesn't shoot 3's. One can lose sight of what may be most important by chasing glitz and glitter.
