    He's a would-be influencer who wants the attention of being "distinctly both".

    I guess it amounts to nothing more than going overboard on tatoos or silicone for some people, but ethnicity is a strong matter of identity for many others,

    Personally, it would sound sadder if he was adopted by Korean parents and decided to cut up his face and body to look more like the people he grew up around.

    But I'm sure there's plenty of people who "pass as white" in English speaking countries who have done just the same thing.

    Very messy question underneath it all...

    I have posted this before but I think these people are genuinely suffering. To need to cut their own bodies and mix up hormone levels to become something they’re not because their mind says otherwise. Or this guy wanting to be Korean so badly he pays a surgeon to carve his face into this.

    The future is going to be more of this, not less.
