But him leaving was not on him. I’m definitely bitter toward Tildo, Daryl, and James for clashing and burning it to the ground. I am afraid if Rafa has success that Tildo will want to insert his son in thinking he can keep building only to burn it up again! I’m happy for CP3. My bias toward James makes we want CP3 to win one!
Are you so proud that you can't even admit that a game 7 has far more pressure than a game 1? Everyone knows this is true. By deflecting, you're just making yourself look silly. It's understandable though. Once you acknowledge a game 7 has more pressure, then someone will pull up Harden's game 7 (and maybe game 6) stats, and the narrative becomes "Harden struggles under pressure". And then you're stuck.
Dont project your flaws onto me dude. You got your ass handed to you with facts and you still wouldntl believe them. He's only been in 4 game 7s, performed well with the Clippers. Alone agaisnt the GOAT team, who no one besides Lebron in his position could have beaten, one against OKC where he performed bad but STILL GOT THE WIN(and carried the last 6 games) and one against the Bucks on a grade 2 hamstring. You are dishonest and refuse to look at the facts. Of course those two will like your post, they are just as clueless.
The problem all along was 1) Morey being at the helm 2) Morey's philosophy of making Harden the #1 Franchise player and building around a shaky guy like him (And to compound matters cater lineups /strategies that would maximize Harden but diminish chances of winning) 3) Harden just being a poor player/teammate especially in the playoffs Morey kept this franchise supposedly above water but his moves were a continual treadmill of mediocrity. The Rockets never hit rock bottom to come back through player development and neither did they have the right attitude/philosophy/strategy to build a title contender. It was another wasted decade simply because the keys were in Morey's hands.
Blame Harden, he convinced Tilman who then forced Morey to make the trade while giving up nearly our entire future. We gave up way too much for Westbrook just like we gave up way too much for CP3. Probably all because Harden was crying every off-season on how he needed more help. It's clear Harden can't get it done in the playoffs, just look at these young superstars that are in the playoffs, they just go off in every elimination game. With Harden, it didn't just happen once but multiple times where he shrank in crucial games.
1. Man just hates harden so much that he ignores all quantitiave data including those that was presented to disprove ignornant statements 2. Post is a filthy causal who doesn't do research, sees ignorant anti harden videos/post (minority view) and takes it as gospel. Ex: harden on an injured hamstring got eliminated = harden chokes so hard even kd can't carry his ass. (Dumbass causal take) 3. Poster is a master at the arts of goal post moving, projexting and arguing in bad faith U right waste of time even attempting to post with this person.
What about the facts about Harden 3's going 2-13 in game 7? or 4-12 in game 6 or 0-11 in game 5 or 3-12 in game 4 or 3-15 in game 2? Or 1-7 twice vs Utah in important games... Oh those facts aren't important because they don't fit your narrative. I keep forgetting about how things work....
Stats aren’t arguable just as the fact that during Harden’s best Rockets years the team was never good enough to beat the Warriors who went 15-0 vs the West during that span.
Im gonna ask you, who's beating the KD Warriors in that situation, besides Lebron. Did you know that series in 2014 where Love and Irving got hurt the dude had a TS% of 48. No I bet you didnt. Yea Harden didnt shoot well but when you are the focal point of the offense without your second best player agaisnt the GOAT team, things like that happen. He did however have a very bad game 5, I will give you that. But in Game 4 he outplayed Chris Paul who also played very well but did his damage in the second half. You he played great in the Utah series 3 out of 5 games. Chris Paul closed it out for us in the last two. Yea, sometimes star players need help, go figure. There is no player that play's consistently amazing through out a series.
Except they were good enough, that year.... This is where Harden's failure seems to blanket The Rockets as not good enough. They were, 0-27 is an anomaly but one that you wont get with a Champion caliber leader and star. Part of why Houston was good enough was because of Harden himself, but in those final and critical moments when Houston was dying Harden failed to provide breathing room and just simply hit a couple of shots. He did not have to score 80pts, just stop the bleeding with what he was best at. Scoring. Maybe its about the right time and the right place, maybe next year Harden gets those shots back and they go in. But lets not pretend like Rockets were not a couple of threes away from going to the finals vs the "best team of all time". Harden will get you to the playoffs every time, every single time. He can do it with anyone, even last year's Rockets. Problem is in the Playoffs, We have seen it time and time again. Does not matter what colors are on his jersey, hopefully those shots do go in in the future. Harden is one of the best of all time, unfortunately his failure fell upon The Rockets.
The Rockets haven’t won squat in 26 years. And had only won one playoff series in 15 years before Harden got here. And during his best years the Warriors were in the midst of going 15-0 vs the West. Harden had his failures in the midst of the Warriors dominating the West but he was far from alone. The Warriors kicked the West’s ass for five years. Blame Harden all you want but the Warriors were the West’s best for that time its just facts.
LeBron, Paul, Kawhi all have been eliminated, big names in the playoffs. Clutch players and leaders, they have all lost at some point. No player in the NBA is 100% perfect in these situations. But Harden does not have the reputation he has because of one series. Its happened over and over again, it just happened again in Brooklyn alongside KD... Oh well Irving did not play, did he really need more help? How many stars does Harden need to get over the hump? LeBron? Kawhi? and Giannis maybe? For sure Harden cant fail then? Harden could have beaten, Durant GS. That team had gotten him exactly where he needed to be. With a lead at half time in a game 7. That help was there, and that help got him there. The ball was in his court. It was his turn to help that team and he did not. He crumbled.
Any poster that post: "harden is such a bona-fide choker" and uses the year cp3 went down or this year where he himself played on one leg. U can just assume is a fking harden hater or is just a filthy causal. I rather be accused of being a harden fan than any dumbasses who is trying to convince others y Harden is such a choker by using a season where he lost playing on a fking hammy and the season where he had to play against the fking zebras and the gsw without cp3 as evidence. I don't see any of u blaming cp3 for not trying to play on an injured hammy when Houston was up vs gsw. As always harden is always judged on a different standard. Imagine being considered a choker bc u failed when forced to play against one of the greatest team ever assembled when your second best player got injured or when u got eliminated when trying to play on a busted hammy. Any other player that got eliminated trying to play on a busted hammy would have been considered playing with heart but for Harden that's just him choking.
Seriously, this is a ROCKETS forum, if your lips are so attached to Harden's arse - you should probably go to the Brooklyn site and swoon over him there. DD
Who is trying to convince anyone Harden is a choker? Harden does that pretty well himself. It takes more faith to believe Harden is not a choker than to believe that he is. Mainly because there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that Harden has indeed come up short several times. Wait not several times, every time. It is widely accepted and known. People say it all the time, its not a rummor or a myth. It not made up, its not suspected. You are acting like some of us are trying to prove Hakeem or MJ was a choker because they did not win it all every year, you do know that your arguments are all based on excuses? Refs, Injuries, Durant, GSW best team ever.... Remove your excuses and all you have is nothing. No foundation to stand on, because Harden never gave you one. So you have to build one based on excuses in order to push this absurd idea that Harden is in any way shape or form the opposite of a choker. No one will accept it, you can continue to echo and no one will take you seriously. Until Harden himself proves it, until Harden himself validates your empty claims you will be wrong.
U cant fking say harden is a fking choker, or can't even win with durant when the man himself got FKING INJURED. like yea u are factually correct, but your intent was to further sht on harden for failing to win it all. GSW eventual champions, harden had many disadvantages going into the last 2 games, okay lets not use those as excuses. How the fk is he only one considered choking when every other fking team got sht stomped that year also? It's not excuses. If a player is injured u can't fking hold it against him for not winning it all. we have some dam haters u included using this recent season as further evidence on harden being a choker. I don't fking care if he's considered a choker, but using the season where he lost cp3 and this season as evidence is just disgusting. the fact where posters even had to use these two season as evidence goes to show how little credibility this choker label merits, but meh i don't care that much. and double dd flipper flopper, i can defend whoever i god dam well please, i don't enjoy slandering/shtting ex rockets players like u do. a normal fan would thank the player for the service and move on instead of btching like a bitter ex who got dumped.
