no. I was just saying low risk as in no bust potential. Cause the biggest risk is you take a player who basically doesn’t contribute at all.

Suggs seems to have an ok jumper.

didn’t know that about career longevity by height. Interesting… but probably not that meaningful in this particular debate.

What about that makes you think I need to calm down?

And what does that have to do with you comparing Suggs shooting with Mobley's.

Green is not as savvy on defense.

He is at his best 1v1 but struggles with switches and misses rotations. But my biggest concern is his inability to read screens.

Screens need to be treated differently depending on type of screener (bigs vs. Guards) as well as location of screen on court.

He tends to ball watch instead of read the defense, makes him reactionary rather anticipatory, which negates his greatest tools on D - explosiveness and body control.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.”

You have to love just how much of a gym rat this kid really is. There's too many talented players that seek to get by on their sheer athleticism and raw talent alone without truly honing their skills, and then we have Green out here working his tail off with Luka and Steph. Open run with Durant and the crew? Sign Green up. Iron sharpens iron, my babies. Speaking of babies, how funny was it hearing all the G-League teams attacked Jalen constantly in the post on that "baby" play. Earn your stripes out there, young king. I think what I enjoy most about his mindset is that he's constantly looking to improve. He's said he doesn't care for people BS'ing him about his game. He wants to know what his weaknesses are so he can go out there and turn then into strengths. You love to see it.

Yeah an ok jumper but how does that translate to the NBA?

My point being he is just as much of a bust potential as Mobley, they both have other skills that can offset their weaknesses.

I would bet on natural weight gain than becoming a great shooter.

Probably ok but we’ll see. Certainly better than someone whose not yet an ok shooter.

lol. Suggs potential isn’t based only on one area. He does lots of good things.

Meh. Seems random. Some folks put on weight. Some don’t.

some folks develop a jump shot. Some don’t.

Weight gain is a natural process of maturing, basketball players have been shooting since they started and we are talking about a guy who has played a year in college.

    It's not random at all.

Because you brought up Suggs shooting in a conversation about Mobley and bust potential among the top 4 prospects.

If YOU had not brought up Suggs shooting we wouldn’t be talking about it, but you did….

That’s how cause and effect works breh…

You are ignoring the most important part.

A lot of Suggs ability to do well in the NBA will be based on his shooting ability, Mobley not so much.

So talking about them being a bust because of how they shoot individually is not cause and effect.

I think you actually realize that.

    Breh.

Pretty sure both would be expected to be able to shoot efficiently. If you can't shoot, you can't play.

The Warriors and Sixers were out because they put a defensive stalwart on the floor who couldn't shoot in crunch time.

I agree but I don't know what this has to do with anything.

You can play a 7 footer who does not shoot well from 3 as opposed to a guard.

    Lets keep this in context.

some players really mature. Some just put on a little weight as they age. KD has added like 15 lbs. he’s basically the same. Trae isn’t getting meaningfully bigger. Steph isn’t meaningfully bigger. Rudy isn’t meaningfully thicker. Whereas Giannis is like night and day.

I’m not sure what the debate is though… Mobley may get wirey strong. Maybe not. He’s never going to be the physical presence Ayton is or. Embiid is or even Jokic from a strength/thick/size perspective.

All of this can be worked on over time. What he brings immediately is what we are all excited about. The excitement of seeing KPJ, Wood and Green put this team on another level.

Man this is all really random, I can randomly name players that have gotten bigger and that number will be far greater its just natural.

I would not want him to be the physical presence ofthose guys they are outliers.

The debate is would you put money on a guy who just turned 20 maturing physically over a guy who is the same age developing into an above average shooter?

And this is not about ******** on Suggs I am just pushing back on Mobley having the higher bust potential, it just makes zero sense.

His biggest weakness seems to be size and it stands to reason he will mature physically, look at his father.

    Eric Mobley.
