The way they have handled the better teams is definitely encouraging. If they handled the bad teams anywhere close to how they handled the good teams the Astros would be miles ahead of the rest of the AL.
Wouldn’t put it past Bucknor. If they’re going to check pitchers every game, the teams should be able to check the umps each game for alcohol intoxication
He and Alou are by far my favorite, and the best, non-superstar hitters the Stros have ever had. And it killed me to see Alou leave.
That'll do, Framber, that'll do. Pitch-wise he could come back out, but he had that hellacious 35 pitch 2nd inning that may have shortened that rope. So long story short, I have no idea. Solomon is fresh in the pen, fresh from Sugar Land.
He pitched a couple of times earlier this year out of the pen, and I thought his stuff looked good, but then he went back to the SL rotation and the numbers (not that that means everything) weren't that great.
