...and I think Westbrook/Harden probably could've won a championship this season if Harden was a better leader and didn't again have issues with his co-superstar. We had all the pieces. Look at all the recent ex-Rockets that are valuable pieces on this year's playoff teams. I put the failure to win a championship solely on James Harden. He only has himself to blame if he never wins a championship.
CP3 should send a Hallmark thank you card together with his duplicated NBA championship ring to Jimmy. Also a strip club coupon attached of course,
You're surprised they aren't openly hostile towards each other when they know cameras are watching them? Look at their body language. That greeting is perfunctory.
westbrook can’t shoot. The reason why booker/cp3 works so well is because teams can’t just gang up on cp3. When defenses dont respect your shot it’s hard to win or go deep in the playoffs
Why would harden care about a ring in a rigged league that has done everything in their power to nerf him. When he changed the game by revolutionizing the gather rule and the stepback 3. He’s also rich and will more that likely go down as statistically the best guard of his era
They did not like each other at the end, as far as i know. Difference between it worked and it clicked, imo
Toxic people do not stop being toxic. And while you might can convince me he would be willing to defer to Durant, I don't even believe he'd look at Embiid as the leader of the team AT ALL and I don't think he's toxic. I just think he's a far better player than Embiid and would expect to be looked at as the team leader in that context.
I don't know liking each other but they were very good together on the court. Its ashame for all parties involved cp3 got hurt
Of course toxic people can stop being toxic. Look at Carmelo Anthony. You can think whatever you want, but in reality, Philly is Embiid's team. If Harden were truly a "far better" player than Embiid, then why wasn't Embiid offered for Harden?
Durant led OKC to the finals earlier with Harden as a role player - Durant also played out his contract - Harden quit on the team, pouted on the floor - and basically refused to try when he was playing. That is not a leader of anything that is a guy you jettison because they are too weak mentally. Harden is like Tmac - some people just love that he can score, and overlook all the other things that cost the team overall. This is a Rockets forum, why are you still here if you are such a Harden back scratcher? Go follow him on Brooklyn be happy - you don't want to be here while we rebuild - it won't be about Harden, it will be about the Rockets that are here. DD
Harden was 6moy. Durant also chocked a 3-1 lead and then left to join the 73 win team(that would and had won a chip without him) and then got his "chips." Sure man, asking for a trade after your owner destroys the team is mentally weak, sure dude.
