I'm finally starting to come around to this mindset of putting more blame on Harden and Morey. Watching how happy Paul was and thinking how bittersweet it was to see him do it outside of Houston legitimately made me a little mad. If I used to put 90% of the blame on Tilman, I'd say that blame is now 50/25/25 between Tillman, Harden and Morey, respectively. I just can't let them off the hook anymore. Tillman may have been the one who pushed it over the edge and motivated the deal, but if Harden didn't want it and Morey hadn't pulled the trigger, it never would have happened. We'd have the best team in the entire league in the city of Houston right now. It's devastating to think about. Happy for Paul, but depressed for what might have been.
lol how hes better than harden when its doubtfull if he'd even make the playoffs in the east were it not for harden lolololol
nope. It didn't matter what anyone else thought about it. Tilman was doing the deal no matter what anyone else said. It's the way he operates. that's already proven and the idiot even admitted it, trying to take credit for what he thought would turn out great. Dumb decision turned out exactly the way it should have and he's going to suffer from it for years to come
This is well reported. Read Kelly Iko's article in The Athletic that reported on this. Harden didn't believe he could win a championship with CP3 and made the ultimatum. He had been wanting to join his friends Durant and Kyrie in Brooklyn since before the beginning of the 2019 season. This is why I will always root against James Harden in the playoffs until he retires.
He never made an ultimatum. You can root against him all you want, I couldn't careless. Making up silly nonsense without being called out about it isn't going to happen though
I'm not mad about it. I honestly don't think we could have ever won a championship with James Harden and Chris Paul only because James Harden is a mental midget on the big stage that is the playoffs. Honestly, Harden did us a favor requesting that trade so we can rebuild and take our chances on young superstars because he was never going to win a championship for us.
Durant is a much better scorer than Harden. It's not a knock on Harden.....Durant is simply one of the most unstoppable scorers in NBA history.
not really. especially when we have multiple accounts of people like rivers, morey, cp3 all saying otherwise
Actions speak louder than words, right? You can't believe everything you hear. It's in everyone's best interest to say that everything is sunshine and rainbows.
They're obviously best friends. Harden had a brain fart and thought CP3 wanted a high five instead of a fist bump.
