Jalen Green should be the pick

I've decided he's a longer, calmer, more shooty Draymond Green

Wade had nearly 35 pounds of pure muscle over Green coming into the league, he was a defensive moster, and a much more developed ball handler and passer, he wasn't a shooter much at all

LaVine is a great comp, Wade is a terrible comp, imo

Yeah, I think Wade is a bad comp as well. Wade played PG his rookie year, Green could never.

A better comp is Bradley Beal.

Hoping he gets in the lab w T-Mac and Harden soon. Working out with pros was one of the things he said he was most excited about and Jaylen Brown's game exploded after those private workouts with McGrady.

Has anyone else noticed the subtle work Green's put in in regards to injury prevention? You can see his landings are much more graceful nowadays than they were early on in High School. There's an art to landing safely after skying high. It was a welcomed sight to see from a highflyer that doesn't shy away from contact.

I'm also intrigued with his footwork for such a young player. He's got a deep bag in his offensive arsenal. What's clear is that Jalen is a basketball junkie with a tireless work ethic. His parents and coaches are constantly trying to reel him in. "Take a week off. Rest your mind and body." Hours later he's right back at it. This excites me as I think many are just happy to make it to the League whereas Jalen wants to be truly special and that takes committment. Thus far he is giving himself a most excellent foundation of skills to fall back on. Lastly I'm impressed by his willingness to be comfortable with being uncomfortable There are guys that go to work on new skills/moves and give up when it doesn't come quickly. They have a mentality that they're already so good at other aspects of the game that they don't care to learn something useful that could take time and hard work. This kid is a sponge and he truly listens. That's where he shines.

LOL. Chill.... I meant "closer to NBA level" which is the point of the G League and what I've been arguing..... stop trying to play gotcha.

That tells me it's very hard to do well in the NBA.

Right, but you can get defense in the later spots too. You prefer going with the higher variance pick, I don't.

Wade was a legit 2 way player coming out of school, one of the greatest shot blocking guards to ever play the game.

Hint: Wade had a huge wingspan (6'11) for a 6'4 player.

    Wade was also THICC.

Jalen Green is a hybrid of Zach Lavigne & Eddie Jones

I can't play gotcha man, I read what I read and I replied to what I read. If that's what you didn't mean then I won't continue, simple.

At the end of the day I would not put much stock, if at all, on gleague bubble stats. I don't think that means Green's floor is higher than Mobley's at all and one thing that ALWAYS translates, no matter what, is Bball IQ and Mobley's defensive IQ is super impressive for a 19 year old.

If he can bring Jones' defense to the NBA sign me up.

Lol. Nope. Myself and others have been consistently saying the G League players are closer to the NBA than NCAA.

You read but you don’t comprehend because you can’t accept it. It’s just the truth. You’re the one who keeps making the G League bigger than it is because you can’t just accept basic facts.

The rockets have used the G League extensively and yet you seem so ignorant about it.

He can bring the defense of a cardboard cutout of Jones.
