Man, I guess Harden was right, we really should have hired Lue. I hate to say it but that dick headed poster was right about Ty Lue. He is excellent.
Suns should bring CP3 off the bench and start Payne. His Harden-esque prolonged decision making and lack of sense of urgency is killing the Suns' pace and rhythm. They could be easily 0-3 the past few games since CP3 came back if it weren't for Ayton's miracle lob.
Okay I think based on this game and series we can say a few things: - Ty Lue is a very solid coach, he has the guts to change starting lineups and adjusts strategy that puts them in the position to win. - Reggie Jackson can still ball - Beverley is having a serious impact on defense and causing disruption to the Suns offense. - CP3 is playing poorly as a playmaker, not recognizing Cam Johnson e.g. being hot and basically not running plays at all. Also his falling down is getting old. - Booker can be good, but man did Beverley rattle him. He was aggressive at times, but overall he’s really not putting the team on his back like PG13 was the second half of game 5. - Ayton is great, but they need to find a way to make him effective against the zone and smaller lineups. - Monty Williams, not sure what to make of him yet, but he really needs to recognize Crowder nor Bridges are giving them much on offense while Cam Johnson is so time to get that guy more minutes, start him or just run plays for him.
Yeah I was wrong about Ty Lue. I remember @Nook praising his adjustments and I didn't believe him. I guess that Cavs Finals series he won had been a distant memory to me.
I thought CP3 was pulling his typical antics on this move. His dumbass caused his own pain and I wasn't mad at the way Bev mocked it.
Even factoring his off moments, he's been the best player in this series by far. 30/11/6 with 1.5 spg. His ts% isn't amazing... But blows away Booker's, whose been low-key bad since game 1... however his head injury is noteworthy i guess.
