Right? I don't have a rooting interest in the Euro's, but this has been a fun stressful day of ball.

This tournament felt like the opposite of his 2018 World Cup.

I dont know what France is doing wasting their time with Deschamps. He is an idiot.

    France should have hired Zidane.

With the amount of raw talent France has on their team, they should have been steam rolling everyone. Other than their GK. Lloris is average at best. He is too small and slow reaction time.

Italy is probably going to win it now. The dirty cheating scumbags.

    USA.

    We didn't qualify for Euros.

Although we should have, by default, after the beating we gave everyone in 1945.

    Next time.

You beat me to posting about Deschamps. Just absolutely worthlessly lucky.
He lucked into a talented generation of French players that he just puts out and they were able to pull the World Cup.
I am so angry at him and I'm not even French.

Lloris is a good goalkeeper regardless of size. You don't have to be Courtois/De Gea size to be a good goalkeeper. Shay Given was one of the best despite being smaller.

But let me rant about the French defence and Deschamps.
There is NO WAY. No way, anyone, not even the mother and father of Kurt Zouma, can convince me that Lenglet and Kimpembe are better defenders than Zouma. (Ideally Deschamps wouldn't have run Laporte off so then he could have selected him but whatever) . I have watched enough Lenglet and more than enough Kimpembe to know Kimpembe is a shitty left back that's been playing as an even shittier center-back. If Deschamps didn't want to play Zouma, I would take Pavard at center-back over Kimpembe, that's how low I rate Kimpembe(Plus Pavard can play CB).

On U.S. TV they were blaming Pogba for the equalizer that sent the match to extra time. I heard(no surprise) that they did the same on ITV as well. Insane to me that they are criticizing a midfielder that lost a ball(because no midfielder has ever or will ever do that) and not the defenders...and specifically one defender that decided to run and mark a player already being chased down by the left back...then watch as his man runs free down the middle, then recover to get to his man and then get undressed and left on the ground while the opponent scores. Disgusting.

    France. Sheesh.

As for the Swiss, I wanted them to lose simply for the fact they(the manager) AGAIN chose to let Ricardo f/ckin Rodriguez step up to take the penalty for them that would've put them up 2 nil. The Left Back. Ricardo Rodriguez. The player who had missed his previous two penalties. While Seferovic, Embolo, Shaqiri, Xhaka, Zuber all were on the pitch. I have never in my life felt so confident that a player was going to miss a penalty as I did when Rodriguez stepped up and I know Lloris must have been so upset that Rodriguez was subbed out and wouldn't get to participate in penalties at the end.

What a game. What a day.

It's England vs Germany matchday....and my nerves are already starting to jingle jangle.
I'd say good luck to the German team and the supporters on here but you all know you don't need it. It's England and England fans that need to hear that.

Hey, it is tough to top yesterday's 2 games. Feels like I watched one year of blockbuster movies.

What a difference though between the first match, where the defensive positioning was terrible, I mean you have to get between the ball and the guy in the box as a simple rule, versus the second match where elite offensive skill was on display.

You must first join the Eurovision if you want to play in Euro. are you sure you can handle it?

How many military bases do we have to have over there before we get an invite?

After the lively matches yesterday, such a boring first half between Germany and England.

Germany's strength used to be midfield command and clinical finishing, both absent so far with the current German squad.
