The offense being asleep today hasn't helped. Margin of error has been slim and Javier's free passes didn't help.

 

He had changed up his approach against that last batter and got him out. I was fine with ridding him for one more batter.

Astros are #1 in runs scored in the 8th and 9th innings. Finally getting at bats in those innings for the first time since Thursday.

 

Skubal entered today with an ERA above 4.00. Mize was near 4.00 before yesterday with a 4.50 in June.

Dude gets called up yesterday and hits his first career HR which untied a game late and was the game-winner.

Tigers are on witchcraft shenanigans vs the Astros.

Thankfully there's still legitimate chance to win this series.
