If Rockets trade out of 2nd pick, interesting read from new member of Rockets scouting team.

Russ Homan loves Keon Johnson as much as I do.

    Nice.

Would anyone take Gilgeous Alexander and future pick (or cancellation of an owed pick or 2 swaps) for the 2 pick?

Trying to think about who might be an actual target if they are thinking of trading? I imagine it would be a young all-star who might further thrive/ develop in a new scenario.

Are you not concerned that Keon tested insanely high athletically … yet still wasn’t that great in college? Or even great at all in any way?

    Yes I am.

I like Keon but not in top 10, it's why you dont see me mocking him to us.

And he will be long gone before 23rd pick.

Those Nets picks need to be left the Hell alone for now...particularly the last pick & the last two swaps.

Looking at next year's draft, it's very plentiful of skilled bigs in the early 1st round.

Wouldnt mind getting one of those either C/PF/SF or some sort of combo

They definitely should. When you have the chance to get Harden for picks (Steven Adams, Alex Abrines and Mitch McGary), you need to do it. An established young player for picks should always be a possibility. I'd want them to be 25 or younger, but I'm all for that. Picks just give you the possibility of giving a good player. If I can exchange those chances for a sure thing, I'd do it every time (if I value that established player).
